• Eglinton Valley - Departing from Te Anau and entering Fiordland National Park, the first stop is Eglinton Valley. With scenery reminiscent of Lord of the Rings, this valley traces the path of an ancient glacier through Fiordland, marking one of the initial major attractions upon entering the park. It beautifully sets the tone for a journey that becomes increasingly impressive as you venture further.
• Mirror Lakes Walk - The next destination on this remarkable adventure is Mirror Lakes, where a brief walk reveals the renowned reflections of the Earl Mountains. On the right day, capturing a perfect photo can make it difficult to discern which way is up.
• Lake Gunn - Named after a notable explorer and favored for fishing, Lake Gunn is often a stop for photos and to savor the tranquility.
• Pops View Lookout - The journey continues with a stop to admire the stunning elevated views of the divide in the Southern Alps, near the start of the Routeburn Track. Here, the guide shares tales of ancient Maori explorers.

Exiting the tunnel, the valley sharply descends towards Milford Sound, where on rainy days, hundreds of waterfalls can be seen cascading down the mountainside.
• Milford Sound - Following the valleys to the sea, the journey reaches Milford Sound, where you will embark on a cruise! The smaller boat allows for closer encounters with wildlife and nature, including New Zealand fur seals lounging on the rocks, towering rock faces rising hundreds of meters from the sea, and waterfalls cascading from the ancient rainforest high in the mountains. This cruise is unparalleled.

Our tours are led by our famously enthusiastic tour guides, known for bringing your journey to life with their stories and extensive knowledge. Travel in modern, comfortable minibuses equipped with extras to ensure your comfort and safety.

• Children aged 7 years and below are required to travel in a child safety car seat. You can provide your own or one can be provided for $20 NZD (with 24 hours notice).
• Milford Sound helicopter tour is very dependent on the weather. The decision to fly is made by our Heli tour partner on the day.
• If the flight does not take place, you will remain with the main tour group in your vehicle and be refunded the helicopter portion of your day tour ticket immediately.
• Fiordland weather is very changeable, and while it may seem sunny and fine in Milford Sound, the mountain ranges create their own systems of weather & wind that pilots must consider. Safety is our first priority!
• The return helicopter flight requires a minimum of 3 people to fly. We join with other tours to do our best to make the flight travel and most of the time this occurs.
• Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair.
