Stunning views and great service - The coach trip was great and Greg was an excellent driver and tour guide, providing facts, stories and jokes the whole way there. The several stops on the way were picturesque and while they were quick stops there was ample time for photos. The cruise itself had amazing views from everywhere on the boat and was very informative, pointing out various peaks and helping to spot animals, we saw a baby seal and a dolphin! We opted for the buffet lunch which was great quality and well labelled for all dietary requirements. As a lovely bonus - the staff at the tour office went the extra mile by secretly calling ahead to the cruise to ask them to make our whole group feel special after they found out a couple in our group had got engaged a few days prior.

Exceptional Day Out to Milford - Keith our tour bus driver was exceptional. His commentary on such a wide variety of information was truly outstanding and this combined with his driving skill made for a great time. The cruise on Milford Sound was awe inspiring and the lunch was very nice. To see Bottle Nose dolphins swimming near the boat and the soaring mountainside was breathtaking. The trip ran like clockwork. I am so pleased to have had the experience and I have taken lots of photos for memories of the day.

Thank you Matua Junior! - Pai rawa atu! We had an absolutely amazing experience with our coach driver, Matua Junior! What made this trip special was how much Junior cared — not just for us, but for the whenua (land). He spoke beautifully about how we care for Aotearoa, and as a Māori, it was really moving to hear someone honour the land in such a meaningful way. What really stood out was how he didn’t just talk the talk — he lived it. After every stop, he would pick up any rubbish left behind. That small act showed how much he genuinely cares and respects the whenua. He also had a great personality and a good sense of Kiwi humour that made the journey even more enjoyable. You could tell he wasn’t just doing a job — he was sharing his love and knowledge of Aotearoa with us, and every word felt real and heartfelt. I was lucky enough to return two days later to gift him a pounamu for the mahi(work) he has done! Ngā mihi nui, Matua Junior. Thank you for having us on board. Anyone would be lucky to travel with you

Waterfall World - Stunning views at every turn and uncountable waterfalls after only a light shower. Low clouds midway up the mountains created mystical moments

Wet & Wild - Even in the rain it was magic. Coach driver Keith Uruk-hai was the best. Plenty of interesting stops and commentary along the way.

Wonderful trip to Milford Sound - This is a must-do trip if you are in the area and have a day to spare. The trip and its organisation was slick and seamless: meet at the information office in Te Anau to collect your tickets (Grace can also set you up for other adventures and recommend places to eat) jump on the bus and let your driver (the friendly, informative and very professional Keith, in our case) take the strain of where to stop for the best photos, getting to Milford Sound in time for your cruise and parking your own vehicle (the car parks were mobbed even on a Wednesday in late February). We booked the picnic lunch, which is collected on board the boat, and it was well worth the money: sandwiches, fruit, crackers & cheese, biscuits and chocolate. The cruise boat, The Lady Bowen, is comfortable and modern and, the Captain’s commentary was live, not recorded, so specific to what we were experiencing on the day. Stand at the front or front/right of the boat on your way out for the best views. Milford Sound itself was glorious. Put down your cameras and take it all in!

Milford Sound - coach ride/boat cruise - Milford Sound - honestly, a bit meh. The trip in there was better imho (sights and scenery along the way were fantastic⛰️🤌. The driver of the bus, 'Junior' was exceptional - informative & entertaining😄💯✔️). The boat cruise 🛳 was good albeit everywhere is insanely infested with tourists🪳. So Milford, whilst immensely scenic, wasn't as good as people make it out to be.

Great experience in any weather conditions. - The cruise and sights at Milford Sound were amazing even though it rained heavily all day making the number of waterfalls exceptional. Without the rain the number of waterfalls would be much less but the views of the mountains may have been better. Anytime the trip is well worthwhile. The only issues that could be improved would be to have the buffet lunch a bit longer and making the trip the specified time of 8.5 hours instead of only 7 hours on our trip from Te Anau which missed some of the proposed stopovers.
