Absolutely Great Experience - We had a great experience with Calle. Calle was very informative and extremely knowledgeable. He was great! My wife and I felt we learned sooo much from Calle. The Viking era was very interesting and Calle educated us on soo much. We really appreciate it. We also enjoyed Calle giving us time to visit and explore areas on our own while he waited in the vehicle. He explained the history, then gave us plenty of time to absorb the history. The only criticism I would mention about Calle……..was he was a Packer Fan. Oh No!!!!!! LOL. But he was absolutely great. DA BEARS!

Great Experience Learning Viking History - Great experience! Travel was comfortable and guides were friendly and personable. Each stop had something interesting to learn with opportunities for photography of the beautiful landscape. I was a little worried about the amount of walking because I have a bad back, but how much you walk is really up to you. They take you to the locations to show you the rune stones. Then, at Sigtuna, they let you explore at your own pace. This tour was great for all types of people, but anyone interested in Viking History will love it.

Loved it - Loved my time learning about Viking history. Our guide, Olof, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. If you like asking lots of questions or just want to avoid crowds, September is an excellent time to do a tour like this.

Viking history and beautiful countryside tour of Sigtuna and Uppsala - We got a comprehensive overview of Viking history in Sweden in addition to seeing some beautiful countryside on this tour. We visited important Viking sites, including Sigtuna and Markim-Orkesta. We visited the Viking parliament, where powerful leaders made important decisions. We visited Jarlabanke's bridge, built by the powerful Viking leader centuries ago and got in depth information on the Runes. We visited Sigtuna, a historic village, where Olaf gave a great walking tour and we had time for a very nice lunch at Cafe valvet. On to Uppsala a gorgeous town with university, a fort, and Uppsala Cathedral, the burial place of Swedish royals like King Gustav Vasa. All explained in detail by Olaf. Last stop was a Viking graveyard and meeting place consisting of huge dirt mounds very beautiful and interesting, Swedens version of the great pyramids. Olaf was a wealth of knowledge throughout the day on all things Sweden and we appreciate him getting us around safely throughout the day. A great day and wonderful memories. A nice way to learn about Swedish history and experience beautiful countryside outside of Stockholm. Highly recommend.

Great Viking Tour! - Loved this tour! Gabriel our guide, gave a true picture of the Vikings. He explains what they did in Sweden & how they expanded & became a power in the world. Examining runes, visiting Viking sites & sharing Viking developing history made for a great tour. I recommend this to add to your understanding of Sweden….plus you will see some beautiful areas outside of Stockholm.

Good exposure to Viking history but feels stretched - The guide was extremely knowledgeable and chatty and provided us some delightful insights into Viking history, but the rune stones, and the places Sigtuna and Uppsala felt underwhelming to spend a whole day on
