Kakheti with Mr. Timur - First of all me and my mom want to show our gratitude to our tour guide today Mr. Timur his knowledgeable and enthusiasm made each trip special and fun from the beginning until the end of our group tour. I especially enjoyed the Bodbe tour and my mom enjoyed in Sighnaghi tour. We also enjoyed and had fun seeing the sunset and tasting wine in the spot and also the music and dance while we are going back home from the whole tour. We will surely recommend to book here to our friends and relatives it was a fantastic day. Thanks again for making the trip memorable Mr.Timur

The perfect experience - It was a great experience. It's one of the best experiences of any day trip you've ever taken. Recommended Recommendation The guide Timur, in particular, was warm and detailed, funny and very professional. The whole itinerary is also very good, with all the items to experience and several important attractions to cover, especially for a solo trip or with friends.

Nice tour , nice places, kind guide - but in part less time than promised. - we were told to be back only at 9.00pm - instead it was 8.00pm. The saved time we would have perfectly needed to stay longer in Sighnaghi - we just had 40min private time - too little.

Good tour but it needs to be much more organised - Our guide Sura was entertaining and fun. The tour covered some great sights - we enjoyed the wine tasting of home brew and posh wines, also the fresh bread and cheese. St Nino's church was wonderful. However there was so much delay due to late members in the group, and inefficiency at the restaurant, we completely missed Telavi. A major part of the tour seeing the old capital was missed as it was dark and the sights there were closed. This was not explained to us... It was still an enjoyable trip but this was not satisfactory.

Not happy! - We were 2 couples and i was the one to recommend for them imperial tours as last year i did the same tour with the guide omar and it was great. But unfortunately this year we all went home extremely sick with severe headaches because the guide didn't give us a chance to rest in the bus, he was continuously speaking about the history of tbilisi in both languages ( English & Russian ) which was extremely annoying fir us which caused severe headaches . The road is already hard due to many turns which was nauseas, so we really needed some rest but we couldn't because he wouldn't give us chance to do that He is a great guide but he should not do this inside the bus, this should be done when we reach the location especially that he is speaking in 2 languages which was extremely hard for us to listen to the story twice . Please consider this as I am sure that other people were also annoyed but they were shy to speak.

Disorganized Tour and Poor Guide Experience - Got it! Here’s the same review without any bold formatting, keeping it professional and around 300 words for a refund request: --- I recently joined the Kakheti tour on October 16 with Imperial Travel, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. I have taken similar tours with Ushba, and the difference in quality was clear—Ushba was far better in terms of organization, professionalism, and overall experience. From the beginning, our tour guide appeared disinterested and unengaged. During the drive, he did not provide any information about the places we were visiting, which is one of the main reasons people join guided tours in the first place. There was no effort to build interest or share cultural or historical insights. At each site, the guide did not wait for the full group before speaking. Instead, he quietly mumbled to just two people near him, making it difficult for the rest of us to hear or follow along. Even when everyone gathered closer to listen, his voice was too soft, and there was no microphone or speaker system, making it nearly impossible to hear anything meaningful. Another major issue was the poor scheduling. We were given lunch at 5:30 PM, which is extremely late. The timing also caused us to miss the sunset at our final stop, which was located on a mountaintop and was supposed to be a highlight of the trip. The driver didn’t return to the vehicle on time, and there was a clear lack of coordination between the guide and driver. We arrived back an hour later than promised, which caused me to miss a personal dinner appointment. The guide had reassured us we would be back on time, but that didn’t happen. Given the lack of professionalism, poor planning, and higher price compared to other operators, I feel this tour was not worth the cost. Honestly, a regular taxi driver could have taken us to the same places and given brief introductions—for a much cheaper price. We basically didn’t have a proper tour guide on this trip.
