Along our journey, we’ll take in the captivating allure of Javakheti Zegani and get a glimpse of the striking Abuli peak and the massive Paravani Lake - Georgia’s largest lake.
After delving into Vardzia, we’ll move to the Khertvisi fortress, which is tactically situated on a hill, amid two rivers. For our midday meal, we’ll indulge in some regional specialties, including Qvevri beer. Afterward, we’ll drop by the Rabati fortress, Georgia’s most extensive preserved stronghold, possessing a mansion, church, mosque, fountains, bathing pools, and a museum.
