• Jinvali Water Reservoir - The Zhinvali Reservoir is a sophisticated water reservoir located in eastern Georgia, within the Dusheti municipality, just north of the small town of Zhinvali, and 70 km from Tbilisi. It is situated in the middle of the Aragvi River, nestled between the Alevi, Gudamakari, and Kartli ridges. The reservoir covers an area of 11.5 km² and holds a water volume of 520 million cubic meters.
• Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble - The Ananuri Fortress, dating back to the 16th and 17th centuries, is positioned on a promontory by the Aragvi River. It served as a castle and the seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that governed the region from the 13th century. The fortress witnessed numerous battles and is an ideal spot for landscape photography, offering breathtaking views of both the fortress and the Jinvali Reservoir. The fortress was in use until the early 19th century and was added to the tentative list for the UNESCO World Heritage Site program in 2007.
• Aragvi - Near the village of Pasanauri on the Georgian Military Road, there is a small observation deck featuring an information board and a deer statue. This marks the confluence of the Black and White Aragvi rivers, which merge to form the Aragvi River. The rivers are named for the color of the rocks at their sources, resulting in contrasting water colors.
• Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - The Friendship Arch is located on the mountain’s edge near Gudauri. It is the highest point of the pass and an ideal spot to embrace the majestic mountains.

• Gergeti Trinity Church - Commonly known as the Holy Trinity Church near the village of Gergeti, this church is situated on the right bank of the Chkheri River beneath Kazbegi Mountain, at an elevation of 2170 meters above sea level. Constructed in the 14th century, it is the only cross-cupola church in the Khevi province. During times of peril, valuable relics from Mtskheta, including Saint Nino’s Cross, were safeguarded here. Although religious services were banned during the Soviet Era, the church remained a popular tourist attraction. It is an active establishment of the Georgian Orthodox and Apostolic Church. Visitors can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the entire valley from the church. Its remote location in a steep, mountainous area rich in natural beauty makes it one of Georgia’s most iconic tourist attractions. The view of Mount Kazbegi, standing at 5047 meters above sea level, is truly impressive.
