Jvari Church - Jvari Monastery is a sixth-century Georgian Orthodox monastery near Mtskheta, eastern Georgia. Jvari is a rare case of an Early Medieval Georgian church that has survived to the present day almost unchanged.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - The Svetitskhoveli Cathedral is an Orthodox Christian cathedral located in the historic town of Mtskheta, Georgia, to the northwest of the Georgian capital Tbilisi. A masterpiece of the Early and High Middle Ages, Svetitskhoveli is recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Memorial History of Georgia - The Chronicle of Georgia is a monument located near the Tbilisi sea. It was created by Zurab Tsereteli in 1985 but was never fully finished. The monument chronicles the history of Georgia. The monument sits at the top of a large set of stairs.
Anchiskhati Basilica - In the historical district, in upper Kala, on Shavteli street the Anchiskhati basilica is located, the church dates back to the 6th century, and according to the historical sources it was constructed by Dachi Ujarmeli ( from Ujarma) and it was bearing the name of the Virgin Mary’s birth.
Rezo Gabriadze Marionette Theater - In 2010 Rezo Gabriadze built a unique clock tower next to marionette theatre in Tbilisi old town. Every hour an angel comes out with a small hammer to ring the bell. There is a small puppet theatre inside the tower and twice a day at noon and at 7pm you can see a show – “The Circle of Life”. Rezo decorated the tower with hundreds of tiles which he designed himself and the it instantly became a major architectural attraction of Tbilisi.
Sioni Cathedral Church - Virgin Mary church Sioni is located on the street having the same name, in one of the oldest districts of Tbilisi, in upper Kala. According to the legend the first church on the very place was constructed by the King Vakhtang Gorgasali in the 5th century,
The Bridge of Peace - elatively newly constructed the Bridge of Peace is definitely the attraction one wouldn’t want to miss in Tbilisi. It is a pedestrian glass and steel bridge in a bow-shaped design that sits over the Mtkvari (Kura) river in Georgian capital. It was officially opened in May 2010. The bridge was brought to Georgia from Italy in 200 unassembled components.
Rike Park - Rike park is considered to be the youngest recreational area in Tbilisi. It is situated on the left bank of the river Kura (Mtkvari) and already has become a popular place for both local and international visitors, especially families, and in summer. The Rike park is quite easy to find, as its main entrance is right from the beautiful pedestrian ‘Bridge of Peace’
Kartlis Deda - Kartvlis Deda (Mother of a Georgian) erroneously known as Kartlis Deda is a monument in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi, which has become a symbol of the city. The statue was erected on the top of Sololaki hill in 1958, the year Tbilisi celebrated its 1500th anniversary. Prominent Georgian sculptor Elguja Amashukeli designed the twenty-meter aluminium figure of a woman in Georgian national dress. She symbolizes the Georgian national character: in her left hand she holds a bowl of wine to greet those who come as friends, and in her right hand is a sword for those who come as enemies.
Abanotubani - The “Abanotubani” is the name given to the district in the Old Town of Tbilisi where there is a whole street (Abanos kucha) of public bathhouses that use the sulphurous waters of the many hot springs in this area.
Dzveli Tbilisi Sulphur Waterfall - Leghvtakhevi - ‘fig gorge’, in Georgian - is located behind Tbilisi’s renowned Sulphur Baths. Formerly accessible only from within the Botanic Garden, this beautiful waterfall and watering hole for locals is now reachable through a series of paths and bridges behind the baths. A popular location to relax and stroll about especially at night or during hot weekend days.
Narikala Fortress - Narikala fortress is the most known landmark of Tbilisi. No one leaves Tbilisi without walking around this amazing fortress. You can feel the history of Tbilisi, even though the walls are not in a great shape. During the day Narikala fortress draws your attention from all sides of Tbilisi. It overlooks Mtkvari River, which makes Narikala more incredible. Narikala is one of the most visited places in Tbilisi.
Old Town (Altstadt) Tbilisi - Tbilisi’s Old Town is one of the oldest parts of the city. The Old Town is part of the Tbilisi Historic District and contains a number of officially designated monuments, churches, cobbled streets and picturesque pastel colored wooden houses with open, carved balconies. The houses are mainly 19th century as much of the city was destroyed by the devastating Persian invasion of 1795. Much of the Old Town has been restored under a scheme introduced by the Tbilisi government in 2009. Called “New Life for Old Tbilisi”, the scheme is restoring and rehabilitating Tbilisi’s historical districts and neighborhoods.
Mtatsminda Amusement Park - Mtatsminda Park is a famous landscaped park located at the top of Mount Mtatsminda overlooking the Georgian capital Tbilisi. The park has carousels, water slides, a roller-coaster, funicular, and a big Ferris Wheel at the edge of the mountain, offering a splendid view over the city.
Memorial History of Georgia - The impressive monument dedicated to Georgian history is a perfect example of brutalist Soviet architecture. The “Stonehenge of Tbilisi” as locals call it, is located on a hill over viewing the Soviet suburbs and the scenic Tbilisi Sea. If you like architecture, non-touristic places and photography, this is a must visit! Usually you won´t meet any other visitors there and the huge pillars make a great photo location. The monument is located on a hill and offers an interesting panorama on the suburbs of Tbilisi.
Tsminda Sameba Cathedral - The Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi commonly known as Sameba is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church located in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia
Flea Market Dry Bridge - This extraordinary flea market will keep you entertained for hours. There is a mesmerising assortment of antiques, jewellery and bric-a-brac on sale.
In the tough days of Perestroika and the early years of independence, the Dry Bridge is where hard-up citizens of Tbilisi would come to sell their possessions in order to make a little cash. For some people that is still the case today, though for others this is their main business. Everything is laid out on the ground, often carefully arranged on on sheets of material, other times it is a haphazard collection.
One person might be trying to sell you twenty-year-old batteries or an old toothbrush, while their neighbour will be touting antique amber and silver jewellery. If you want to buy anything remember to haggle. Prices may be inflated, especially for tourists.

Jinvali Water Reservoir - Zhinvali water reservoir, also known as a lake is located on the Georgian Military Highway. Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s. As Tbilisi was growing rapidly, there was a need of a new water supply. Government decided that the Aragvi Gorge rich with glacier water was the perfect spot.
Ananuri - Ananuri Fortress is a 17th Century Architectural Ensemble which at the time was one of the strongest fortresses in Georgia. Fortress is located in a 70 km drive from Tbilisi, in the village with the same name – Ananuri.
Location for the complex was chosen because of its strategical importance. This fortress belonged to the local rulers called “Aragvistavi” and was the main stronghold for the family.
Russian Georgian Friendship Monument - Gudauri Friendship monument is located 120 KM from Tbilisi, on the Georgian Military Highway connecting to Russia. The government of Soviet Union built this monument in order to celebrate 200 years since the treaty of Georgievs signed in 1783.
This panorama is decorated with Soviet Style mosaics depicting Georgian and Russian heroes, farmers, fairy tales and communist symbols. The monument is very vivid and colorful, however the most important part of it’s beauty is its location.
Here you will have an opportunity to fly over the Caucasus Mountains with a professional pilot and a paragilide.
Gergeti Trinity Church - This is the most anticipated stop of the Kazbegi Tour – Gergeti Trinity Church.
Gergeti Church of the holy trinity is located in Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region, Kazbegi Municipality under the famous Mount Kazbegi. This monastery has recently become very well-known worldwide for its amazing views.
Trinity church stands at 1800 meters from sea level, overlooking the city of Stepantsminda also known as Kazbegi. Behind it is the great Kazbegi peak at 5047 meters from sea level.
We will visit the monastery with a 4WD as there is no other way of getting up to the monastery.
Gudauri - Drive to the Ski resort of Gudauri, where you’ll have 3 hours to enjoy snow fun! (Activities available include sledding, skiing, snowboarding, paragliding and more)
Tbilisi - At around 20:00 we’ll return to Tbilisi and our team will deliver you to your hotel.
