Great tour! - Although the factory is quite basic , the 3 ladies who run it are lovely and very engaging. Interesting tour although we didn’t see how olive oil is made. However the huge plus of this tour is the tasting at the end - very generous amounts of nibbles and drinks. Excellent value for money and you can buy the snacks and wines you’ve tasted, at very reasonable prices. Definitely recommend as a very pleasant way to send an hour or so!

Fantastic olive factory tour! - We loved our olive factory tour, Andreia was an entertaining and knowledgeable guide, we learnt a lot about the process of making olives and the tasting was incredible, very generous with the wine portions! A lovely gift shop at the end also. Would recommend to anyone to try something different when in the region!

Very interesting excursion - Andrea is a Guide with a lot of energy and very friendly. Seeing how the process of preparing olives works is very interesting. The tasting at the end of the tour is unbeatable. Local products (goat cheese) homemade bread and good wine all very well.

Amazing experience - This tour was informative and moved quick enough to keep everyone interested. Our guide Andrea was knowledgeable, entertaining and sweet. We also loved meeting her equally kind sister and mom; shout out to mom's homemade bread! The entire tasting was delicious. This was a fantastic experience with an excellent product to sample. Highly recommend.

THE BEST EXPERIENCE - We went to the Helder Olive Factory yesterday and had the BEST time. The tour is quick and informative (about 30 minutes) and then afterwards they put out the most wonderful charcuterie, with two different kinds of bread, cheeses, olives and preserves that are made in the factory, it was absolutely marvelous. I cannot express how kind everyone is. We went in as strangers and left as friends. If you are interested in farm to table this is your stop!I cannot recommend enough!!!!

Great experience - We were there spontaneously. There were no other registrations, so we virtually had a private tour. We are deaf and we have tried hard to communicate. It was great! The tasting was awesome! Everything was so delicious and so great served! We still rave today how delicious it was! Luckily we bought olives and other so we can eat again at home. It was great! Thank you!

Great experience, lovely hosts! - This was an enjoyable and enthusiastically delivered tour of an olive factory. After a warm welcome and introduction, we were shown the processes involved in transforming the olives from their natural state to being ready for distribution. We were then provided with a delicious selection of foods to taste, including locally sourced meat, wine, and cheeses, as well as the factory's own produce (olives, olive oil, jam, marmalade & more). I'd highly recommend this tour if you're in the vicinity of Tavira.
