Rotorua is one of the top sites to see in New Zealand - Excursion covered everything I wanted to see. Great destination. Description was off in parts as in one part says meal provided and would stop in kiwi farm but instead we stopped on the side of the road overlooking a kiwi farm but sitll, the main event was Rotorua and the geysers and the mud plip plopping and this is why I am giving this 5 stars, Driver was knowledgeable.

Insightful tour. Worth seeing. - Very insightful information. The hot spring and geyers were wonderful to see. We learned a lot about how kiwi is grown. Would definitely recommend to others.

Amazing one day tour - Great tour, offered by BOP tours. You can get the tour tickets when arriving to the port 30% cheaper than Viator, tour departs at 10 AM, get the tickets one hour earlier. I try to get a price match from Viator and they refused..

Great Trip - Great guided tour included many interesting places such as the kiwi fruit farm and Rotorua springs. Great value for money as was expensive to get into Rotorua if you went by yourself.

Hot springs were great - A great day but was disappointed we didn't get to see the redwoods. I wish the tour guide moved the late people so we cod have seen it.

No live narration - This is a uber driver not a tour guide company. No mic, limited info, Farm tour was a stop by a field. No local food sampling, Te Puia was amazing with their own amazing tour guide, that's the only reason I give this a 2 instead of a 1 star.

A Very Disappointing Tour! - The tour was sold as a maximum of 11 people. While that was true per vehicle, there were three vehicles… 2 vans and a car… so there were 25 or so people, making it crowded and hectic at stops. The operator did not build in bathroom breaks, so I set a record for me by going from 8:30am to 2pm without a bathroom break. Oh … and when you book a tour in an English-speaking country, you expect you guide to speak English. Our driver had limited language skills, so we got no commentary about what we were seeing. Overall very disappointing! Even the visit to the Māori cultural center was not what it should have been due to the size of the group and a generally rushed visit that left little time for lunch. Viator really dropped the ball on this tour!

Waste of money - get a taxi - will be cheaper! - This wasn’t a tour - it was a taxi. Absolutely no local information at all from the driver. He only spoke to the person sitting next to him in the front, and even then it was laughable - he pointed out grass in a field!! Instead of being a small group, there were 3 vehicles, and only one driver seemed to do any talking at the stops. So there were about 30 of us trying to listen, and our vehicle arrived last, so we missed a lot of what was being said. The stop at the kiwi orchard consisted of pulling off the road and looking over a fence at kiwi trees, there was no “tasting of local produce”. The time at Te Paui was rushed. We missed the start of the cultural show, and then only had 20 minutes after the show for lunch, shopping and bathroom break (there had been no scheduled stop for bathrooms up to this point at 2pm - one person went during the Te Paui tour, but the tour guide never waited and her and her husband missed the kiwis as a result). After leaving Te Paui we were told we were going to gardens, but we only drove in and out again, no explanation why we didn’t stop. The driver was asked at one point where we were, but he couldn’t pronounce the name of the town as it was a Maori name. Very disappointing.

Not Recommended - This was not a tour but rather an Uber to and from the main venue. The driver offered no narratives. The vehicle was undersized with comfortable seating for 5 but stuffed in 6 full sized adults for the one hour trip. The resolution offered for the vehicle was to get out and a refund would be provided. The driver asked where we wanted to go rather than taking us on the advertised tour, not knowing the specific names or pronunciation we were returned to the port. The driver had no enhancement for her voice so when she did speak she was inaudible especially in the rear center child seat.
