• Te Puia - We will guide you to the geothermal valley of TE PUIA. In this renowned location of POHUTU GEYSER, amidst a landscape of erupting geothermal activities, you will have the chance to witness geothermal phenomena, hot bubbling mud pools, hot springs, and more. It’s the perfect spot for nature lovers to see the KIWI BIRD. You will then be taken to a MAORI village, where you can enjoy a spectacular MAORI cultural performance and visit carving and weaving schools. To top it off, you will have the opportunity to take a general sightseeing tour of Rotorua, visiting the lakefront of Lake Rotorua, the city center, beautiful government gardens, and the Polynesian spa.

On the way back, we will take a different, more scenic and rural route.

If time permits, we will stop for a few minutes at the waterfront of Tauranga CBD before dropping you back at the ship before it sails.

Rotorua (Geothermal Valley) is located less than 50 miles from the coast and is one of the most stunning attractions in the Bay of Plenty.
