Ksar Ouled Soltane - This is a magnificent 15th-century fortified Berber granary located in southern Tunisia near Tataouine. Known for its impressive multi-level architecture featuring rows of domed, white-walled ghorfas (storage chambers), it is one of the best-preserved ksour in the area.

Chenini Berber Village - Next, visit Chenini, an ancient Berber village in southern Tunisia, celebrated for its unique rock-carved architecture, traditional cave-like homes, and a prominent white mosque connecting the peaks, offering insight into centuries-old Berber life. Enjoy a local lunch here before continuing to Ksar Ghilane.

Ksar Ghilane - After lunch, head to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, where the lush greenery of palm trees meets the ocher hues of sand dunes stretching endlessly. Take a moment to swim in the hot water spring nestled in the oasis. Optional activities include a camel ride or quad biking on the sand dunes (additional cost). Accommodation and dinner will be provided in the evening.

Douz - Chott El Jerid - Tozeur

Douz - Known as the “Gateway to the Sahara,” Douz is a charming oasis town in southern Tunisia, famous for its vast palm groves and as the home of the nomadic Mrazig people.

Chott El Jerid - This is the largest salt pan of the Sahara Desert, spanning over 7,000 square kilometers in southwest Tunisia between Tozeur and Kebili. Renowned for its dazzling white, pink, and green salt crust, this dramatic landscape dries completely in summer, often creating fata morgana mirages. The area is also a notable Star Wars filming location.

Tozeur Market - After checking in at the hotel, visit the Medina of Tozeur, specifically the historic Ouled el Hadef district. This stunning, well-preserved 14th-century quarter in southern Tunisia is famous for its unique yellow-brick architecture. Star Wars: Mos Espa - Mos Espa, located near Nefta in southwestern Tunisia, is a renowned Star Wars film set used for Episode I and II, notably as Anakin Skywalker’s hometown on Tatooine. Built in the early 1990s in the Ong Jmel desert, visitors can observe the sunset through the dunes (additional cost).
