You cannot miss this food tour! Do it at the beginning of your tour. - We really enjoyed trying all sorts of different foods at local places we most likely wouldn't have tried. The food was fantastic. Our guide, Mara, was wonderful. She gave a lot of interesting facts about local culture and history. She pointed out neat places we otherwise would not have seen. What an awesome tour! We sampled local cuisine and learned about the area's history. The cuisine at each of the five locations was absolutely mouthwatering. Mara, our guide, was just wonderful. Her manner was charming, and her expertise was extensive. Her upbringing in Christiansted and the anecdotes she gave shed tremendous insight into St. Croix culture.

I recommend this for those new to the island! - It was a hot day, but we had a great time. Take a couple of hours to explore some of the island's great eats. We were with only one other couple, so we were able to chat extensively with our guide. We went back to a couple of the places on the tour because the food was great. Our guide gave us a great crash course on the island's culture and history as we wandered from one tasting to the next. I highly recommend the experience to all visiting the island for the first time!

Highlight of my St, Croix trip! - I loved learning about the history of St. Croix and the food, our guide, and merchants were phenomenal! Wonderful Tour & Wonderful Guide! - This tour was wonderful! It was a combination of history and local food sampling. The food was delicious (5 different stops, I think). Our guide, Mara, was delightful. She was very knowledgeable and had a wonderful personality. She's grew up in Christiansted and shared personal stories that really highlighted the culture of St. Croix. We were arriving by cruise ship and they pre-arranged transportation to and from the ship, so that we didn't have to find our own cab or worry about getting back to the ship late. (One caveat - it was hot and there was a lot of walking, some of it hilly. We are both 70 and relatively fit, but we were pretty tired at the end.)

Great food tour in STX. - So glad we did this! We got a nice overview of Christiansted, learned lots of history of the city and St Croix, and tasted several interesting and delicious dishes. LD took great care of us, was knowledgeable and fun!

Don't visit the island without doing this! - We thoroughly enjoyed this food tour. Our guide, KD, was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of St. Croix, and learning the history was my favorite part. It was also interesting to hear how different foods were created to sustain long working days throughout history. It would be nice to see a similar tour in Fredrickstead, too. We have been to St. Croix before but never had much background information on the island and history. This was such an informative session paired with food to sustain us during our tour. The tastings start heavier and lighten up, so you can eat it all and keep some for a snack later. We enjoyed the painkiller made with Mutiny Island Vodka; it was much better than a rum version. So glad we did this!

Great guide and food! - Great tour! Charlie led an excellent tour for us, the food we tasted was excellent. I also enjoyed learning about local history and getting recommendations for restaurants to visit during our trip.

Good Food in St. Croix! - Was a great tour! Tried food items we would have never known about! We ended up going back to a couple of places as repeat customers! Learned some cultural history along the way too! Charlie, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and made the tour fun!! Would recommend!
