A great trip!! - Bonorong Sanctuary was great - they gave us kangaroo food and it was so much fun feeding all of the animals! They also made sure to get us there in time for the staff's talk on wombats, echidnas, and Tasmanian devils - it was really interesting to learn about the animals! I also loved visiting Mt. Wellington - the views are incredible (even if we had to leave a bit early because of the weather)! The walk through Mt Field National Park (to see the tall trees and Russell Falls) was very pretty, and Richmond was a nice stop for lunch. Our tour guide (Paul) helped make the day lots of fun! Thanks for a great tour :)

Unforgettable experience - This trip is absolutely spectacular! I am not really a big fan of writing reviews, but this one truly deserves it. All the places included in this tour are incredible: walking under 80 m blue gums, petting kangaroos, watching Tassie devils, visiting a colonial town, and reaching the summit of Mt. Wellington full of ice and snow... This has been definitely the tour I had the most fun in my life. By the way, Simon, our guide, was an incredible guy!

A Great Day in Tasmania! - My mom and I had a great day out in Tasmania on this tour! One of the highlights was the Wildlife sanctuary, this was such an amazing place working under a great cause. The kangaroos on the sanctuary were roaming around and we were able to go up and feed them. Our tour guide, Simon, was great and moved the day around based on the weather to give us the best views of Hobart at the end of the day. He had interesting stories and let us choose our own adventures throughout the day. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour to fill our limited time in Tasmania!

Such a great day! - We had the best time today visiting mount field, the wildlife sanctuary, and a few select lookouts. The weather was not in our favour, so we didn't get to the top of Mount Wellington (low cloud and rain) but our legend guide Simon strategically planned around worst of it. What an amazing place, loved every moment - thanks so much guys! 😀

An unforgettable experience - Like this day trip very much. The weather was nice so I got to see the beautiful view on Mount Wellington. Walking in Mount Field was also great, and we saw a wild wallaby there. The tour guide was friendly and people in my tour were nice as well.

Great tour - Icy settled snow at Mt Wellington. We were lucky to enter the summit at 3.45pm because rangers shut the gate at 4pm. The panoramic view of Hobart and surrounds was spectacular enhanced by the warm afternoon light. Mt Field was lush green and exquisite. Enormous gum trees. Need more than 45mins there, though a fabulous taste tester for a tour. It's a place to hopefully return too. Bonorong was a great place to see a wombat and 2 Tassie devils. It's not a zoo, it's a home for injured wildlife and soon to become a hospital. Animals have a great view of Mt Wellington. The mud brick bridge in Richmond was nice to see. Our tour guide Gary was great. Constant informative commentary about Tasmanian history, environment and fun facts and he was light-hearted and humorous.

Loved the nature on this tour - One of our favourite tours we did in Tasmania. The hike in Mt Wellington is super chill, but definitely worth it for the waterfalls. We got there before any other group, so it was very quiet in the forrest. Just get ready if you go to Mt Field in winter that it will be very cold there, we saw snow, which we definitely did not prepare for.

Perfect day out - Amazing tour that showed the different sides to Hobart and it's surrounds. Mt Field was beautiful and a great start to full day. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and demonstrated a passion for Tasmania and its history. Would highly recommend!

Mt. Wellington Tour - The trip was good; Our guide was excellent. He kept us entertained with stories and information. Overall, we had a good time on his trip. Only downside is that due to heavy fog, we did not have a view of Hobart from top of Mt Wellington.

Great locations, not great guide - Positives: The destinations are well-planned to reach each spot at the best time. Mt Field walk was lovely and the waterfalls were very nice to view. It was also an easy downhill walk which was appreciated. Bonorong Sanctuary exceeded expectations and we wished we could stay even longer. Richmond was also a quaint little town with history, lovely antiques stores and tasty pies. And finishing at the summit of Mt Wellington was a cherry in top. Negatives: the guide was really not to our taste. Although some historical facts were provided, it was repetitive and drowned in cringy puns, long tales about international tariffs and progress in cauliflower veggie patches in the neighbourhood. It was almost 7 hours of non-stop rambling.that could have been condensed to a much more concise story. Conclusion: if you can, find another way to get to these great locations.
