Arrival in Tashkent

Tashkent - Arrive at Tashkent International Airport in the afternoon. A driver will greet you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may choose to dine out or relax at the hotel.

Tashkent Sightseeing Tour

Uzbekistan State Museum of Applied Art - The museum houses over 7,000 pieces of applied art, showcasing craftsmanship from the early 19th century to the present.

Route A:
Hike to Kadvan Valley (7.5-8 hours/15km round trip). Pass an ancient fortress and visit a site with old Arabic script, continue hiking to a small waterfall, and cool off in one of the natural swimming pools. Enjoy a picnic along the way. Return to Sentob via the same path.

Route B:
For avid hikers, a trek to Mount Fazilman is recommended (10 hours/22km round trip). Hike up the Chavaksoy Valley to Guzbin (8.3km, 3 ½ hours), reach the mountain pass near Peak Gaukum, and continue on the plateau to Lake Fazilman (2.8km, 1 hour). Enjoy a picnic and rest at the small lake, then return to Sentob via a different route.

Chorsu Bazaar - Chorsu Bazaar is the oldest and largest bazaar in Central Asia. Exploring this bustling market offers a glimpse into the daily lives of locals.

Besh Qozon Osh Markazi - Visit the Besh Qozon Central Asian Plov Center to witness the preparation of traditional dishes. Tons of Plov are cooked in enormous pots daily. Enjoy lunch and proceed to the next destination.

Amir Temur Square - Amir Temur Square is a prominent landmark in the heart of Tashkent, named after Amir Temur, also known as Tamerlane.

Navoi Opera Theater - Founded in June 1939, the State Academic Grand Theatre of Uzbekistan, named after Alisher Navoi, is one of the leading opera and ballet theaters in Uzbekistan.

Metro Tashkent - Opened in 1977, the Tashkent metro is the first underground system in Central Asia. Each station boasts unique architectural designs featuring marble, granite, traditional tilework, colorful bas-reliefs, and ganch.

Train Transfer to Samarkand

Samarkand - In the morning, transfer to the train station for your journey to Samarkand. Upon arrival, meet your guide and start your city tour.

Gur Emir Mausoleum - Begin the Samarkand tour with a visit to Gur Emir Mausoleum, a masterpiece of Timurid architecture. Its towering turquoise dome, adorned with geometric patterns and calligraphy, shelters the tombs of Tamerlane and his descendants.

Registan - The Registan is a historic square known for its stunning Islamic architecture. It is surrounded by three madrasahs adorned with intricate tilework and impressive domes, making it the most captivating monument in Central Asia.

Bibi Khanym Mosque - Built by Timur in the 15th century, Bibi Khanym Mosque impresses with its immense size and intricate design. Its monumental entrance and towering minarets reflect Central Asian architectural mastery.

Half-Day Samarkand Tour and Transfer to Sayyod Yurt Camp

Shah-i-Zinda - Shah-i-Zinda necropolis is a stunning burial complex featuring beautifully decorated mausoleums and mosques dating back to the 9th-14th centuries, showcasing exquisite Islamic architecture.

Forish Tuman - After lunch, transfer to Sayyod Yurt Camp. Upon arrival, settle into one of the 11 beautifully decorated yurts, each comfortably equipped with 2 to 4 beds. While the yurts offer traditional charm, they also provide modern amenities for a cozy stay. Enjoy a delicious regional dinner and unwind by the warm glow of the campfire, immersing yourself in the peaceful atmosphere.

Ukhum - Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your host and shown to your homestay accommodations. After settling in, enjoy a delightful lunch with the family. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll through the village to observe daily life or assist the family in preparing Plov, a traditional dish made with locally sourced vegetables and fragrant mountain spices.
