A perfect diving christening in Puerto del Carmen: Nuria makes it easy and safe - Experience of 10 at the diving christening in Puerto del Carmen (Lanzarote). We were a small group and that shows a lot: constant attention, clear explanations and zero rush. The activity lasts about 2 hours and is super well organized, perfect if it is your first time. Special mention for instructor Nuria: close, professional and very watchful that you go quiet at all times. I felt safe from minute one and enjoyed the water a lot. I would repeat without hesitation.

The best diving agency for Lanzarote, Islas Canarias in Spain - What an experience! These guys are really good. We were greeted by a group of like 7 people and helped us all the way to get our gear ready, walking to the boat and moreover Diving! Patient (it was only my 7th dive), caring and understanding my shortcomings, they helped me all the way.

Great day diving - Had a great day yesterday with Atlantis on a 2 dive discovery package inc the Museum dive at playa blanca. Nuria (the owner) was very helpful getting us all booked before the day and our lead instructor Xander was excellent. Would recommend this dive school 100%. Thank you to all the team at Atlantis!

Scuba Diving in Lanzarote is so much fun for all ages - Had a fantastic day today with the the team at Atlantis Dive Centre, Lanzarote. Our instructor Graizka was very patient and the ultimate professional with my son Matthew (aged 10 ) and myself aged 60:) . I never thought diving would be so much fun and cannot wait until the next opportunity.We felt 100% safe at all times and would highly recommend booking your diving experience with Atlantis Lanzarote 😃😃🤿

Impressive - My instructor was Carlos on the two baptism dives I did. Definitely one of the best experiences of my life. The feeling of being able to breathe underwater is wonderful. He taught me, helped me and was watching over me the whole time. I felt like just another fish. Now I want to do the "open water" course. Thank you very much Carlos! I really enjoyed the fantastic blue world!

Serious and professional dive center. Fully recommended. - The activity consisted of a baptism for 4 children between 9 and 14 years old and 2 adults; we were accompanied by 2 other adults, novice divers with about 30 dives. We decided to take this dive center because another client advised us a couple of days before, and he got it right. Recreational diving is always a risky activity, so we always try to hire serious, responsible and organized people, as is the case with this center. Everyone was given a prior briefing on the security measures and the environment we would dive in (incidentally, with much more fauna than we could imagine). Then we were helped to equip ourselves all, and the water. Four instructors for eight people: that's nice. Those who did the baptism (children and adults) were hand-in-hand in the water, literally, when necessary. Everyone enjoyed it, even those who had moments of overwhelm at some point when it was their first dive; but there you see the good monitors, who knew how to help them have the bad drink with patience and to continue diving and having fun. If you are looking for a good dive center in Lanzarote, we recommend this one. We, if we return to the island, will repeat with them without hesitation.

The most AMAZING dive centre with friendly and professional Staff - TL/DR; Atlantis Diving is THE place to go if you want to get into Scuba and feel 100% and looked after all the time!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is a big review for my time in August and also the Open Water Course my son and I just did (April 2022) ( I realised I forgot to submit the review last August! - Sorry Nuria!) So August 2021..... I booked the SSI Basic Diver course and a trip to the Underwater Museum for myself and my 12 year old son ( A Wednesday for the course and Friday for the museum trip). I have always wanted to try diving but had never got round to it. When I read about the underwater museum I knew this is something that we would love to try. We were both a little nervous (ok mostly me!), having never done anything like this before so I researched a bunch of dive centers in Lanzarote to find one that I felt comfortable with. I chose Atlantis primarily because of a conversation I had with the owner of the school, Nuria. She was so down to earth and clearly all about safety and the fun of diving as opposed to some centers I had researched who appeared to be about the money and looking cool! This center is also affiliated to SSI which (again after some internet research) I preferred to PADI because of the availability of online resources to augment training etc -- but this is personal choice as I am by no means an expert. The training itself was delivered by Lluis Duque. Like Nuria, he was one of those people that had the calm authority of being a true expert in their field. His instruction was delivered excellently making us feel both safe and comfortable. We then went to two guided dives ( one from the beach and the second from a boat). These were really interesting. It was great to be under the water and feel the peace and tranquility of the ocean. We saw some great marine life as well ( a seahorse, some octopi lots of and lots of fish. Also we saw a decent sized barracuda! We will be diving to the underwater museum tomorrow but wanted to write this review as soon as possible. I think the main thing I wanted to say is that if are thinking of trying scuba diving whilst in Lanzarote ( or indeed looking for somewhere to go to learn scuba) then Atlantis would be my recommendation. I think that the main thing for me is that you need to be able to trust a dive center who are taking you out. This is incredibly hard to do when you are only in a place for one or two weeks. Certifications and affiliations are part of this but a big part are the people as well. April 2022: So my son and I returned to Atlantis Diving for our Open Water course after having to postpone it a few times dues to COVID restrictions. Nuria and the team were so amazingly flexible in relation to this and communication with them from the UK was seamless. We got the learning materials in advance so we could do the theory learning ( and get excited about teh trip) well before we set off to the island! The course itself was with Lluis Duque again and all of the great things I said previously about him were also true again. We went through all of the skills and encorporated them into some fun diving as well. At every stage I felt safe and my son had a great time as well. We left both having passed the course and now officially SSI Open Water divers!! YAY!!! One last comment I will make ( again ) is about trusting your dive provider. When I selected a dive centre I was not just assessing Atlantis in relation to my own safety but that of my 13 year old son. For me to be comfortable for him to be benath the ocean breathing though Suba gear I really needed to trust every aspect of Atlantis Diving's operation ( gear, safety procedures, staff etc) I can wholeheartedly say that I trust Nuria and her team with not only my life but that of my son's. If you are even vaguely considering trying out Scuba, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. You will be welcomed with professionalism and friendliness. My only regret is that I waited until I was 42 years old to begin my scuba journey. I am so pleased that Atlantis Diving has enabled my son to have years and years of sub-aquatic adventure ahead of him.
