Join one of our daily dive trips designed for certified divers. These shore dives are led by an experienced PADI Professional, guiding small groups of up to 4 divers each.
Playa Chica is one of our primary dive spots, offering up to 10 different dives accessible from the shore, depending on your experience level. The site features a shallow plateau that transitions into various underwater landscapes, including mountains, slopes, reefs, caverns, and volcanic rock formations, with depths ranging from 1-40m. The marine life at Playa Chica is spectacular, featuring everything from schools of small fish to large groupers, barracudas, tunas, seahorses, rays, angel sharks, cuttlefish, octopuses, sponges, flounders, crabs, and more. Visibility ranges from 15-40m, providing plenty of opportunities to witness the vibrant underwater life.
The specific dive sites are chosen based on daily water and weather conditions, as well as the group’s experience level.
- You have to be a certified diver to participate. Please present your certification card (digital or printed).
- Flying within 12-18 hours after diving is not recommended
- Diving requires certain weather conditions. In the unlikely event the activity should be cancelled due to poor weather conditions, you will be offered an alternative date or full refund.
- Minimum age is 10 years
- This excursion is for certified divers only. If you are not holding a certification yet, please look at our Discover Scuba Diving Package where no experience is needed.
- You have to be medically fit for diving. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions might prevent you from diving (no asthma, heart problems or other serious conditions). Please consult your doctor.

If u do not require a transfer, we meet you directly at the dive/snorkel site in Playa Chica, Puerto del Carmen. After booking we will send you the exact meeting location and parking recommendation in case you arrive by car.

What an amazing experience - I had the pleasure to dive with Elva one on one from scuba legends, we had the privilege to dive a early bird and Elva was fantastic and as much excited if not more then me, 3 dives that day and Elva had more then enough energy and enthusiasm for the both of us. so professional and knowledgeable,
My last day we headed to the underwater museum with Raul and again such a great guild, he too impressed me with his knowledge and dedication to give me the best possible experience, all in all a fantastic experience and company, thank you !!!

Top for people who are just starting out or just want to dive once a year. Thanks to my dive center Scuba Legends - Thanks to the good diving instructors, I was able to have my first good experiences in the sea. Playa Chica is a top territory for beginners and advanced. The air and water temperature is about 20 degrees in January. Hood and gloves are therefore not needed.From the shore depths of over 30m can be reached quickly,with good visibility, changing structure and a variety of fish species you dive along the bay to one of the exits.(Beach,or stairs)

They were helpful and professional..Dive was good. - The weather was shocking the week we went, but Elda said Friday might be ok. So we booked and Friday was good. We wanted to see the underwater statues. They seemed professional and everything was done efficiently. The second dive was great as we saw loads of fish

This was such fun with amazing people, and I can't wait to come back! :) - Dived with Raul both days and had two amazing boat dives in Playa Blanca, then the following day, some shore dives to Blue Hole and La Cathedral. The first time I've seen Barracuda in Lanzarote!
All dives are buddy pairs in a small group of three or four usually, and there are so many Octopus and other species that you wouldn't expect in somewhere so accessible from the UK! :)
I've dived with Chantal previously, and had a few days of holiday to use before Christmas so asked what I could do with the time I had in Lanzarote with some suggestions of where I would like to dive. Chantal organised everything perfectly with transport from the dive shop and provided all the kit I couldn't bring with me.
The quality of kit for hire is really good, and perfectly maintained. It's the same as I would have brought with me if I had more baggage allowance!
Overall, I couldn't recommend more. These are people that are passionate about diving and can't wait to come back again!! :)

Great PADI course in Lanzarote - My wife and I, both PADI Advanced Open Water certified, chose Lanzarote for our PADI Deep Water certification, drawn to its beautiful diving spots and convenient deep-water access. We contacted Scuba Legends, recommended by others, and appreciated Chantal's efforts in accommodating our specific needs.
Our instructor, Raúl, was excellent. Through four dives, he provided valuable insights and helped us develop our skills. We were fortunate to encounter various marine life, including barracudas and many schools of fishes.

Relaxed holiday diving - After a family holiday including scuba diving in Fuerteventura, this was our 2. Diving holidays in the Canary Islands. The selection of Dive Legends Lanzarote was more or less random, but it was very worth it.
The request by email was answered quickly and in detail and individual requests (e.g. necessary refreshers) were received by the owner (Chantal).
After arriving on the island, we were registered before 1 January. Diving day safely guided through the necessary paperwork for diving. And we were also able to take out a last minute diving insurance (the request to a German insurance company had just been cancelled) with support.
By appointment we were picked up every dive day in front of the hotel near the base and also driven back again.
The equipment we dived with was modern and fully compliant with German requirements for functions and safety. Especially the Scuba Pro brand was represented.
On the diving days we were greeted by our guide (Adri) and after a comprehensive briefing which covered not only safety but also all the cool things you can see like this , we visited dive sites on Playa Chica. The many diving schools that use the same entry seemed a bit overwhelming at the beginning, but underwater everything has spread well and you rarely even "dive into" a group.
Due to Adri's funny and easy-going nature, one quickly felt like diving with good acquaintances.
The dive sites were all very well selected and the dive profile (depth, duration) was adapted to our group and neither too easy nor too demanding.
The all-round service regarding assembly of the equipment, the surface breaks and follow-up of the equipment was great! You really felt on holiday and stress has hardly ever arisen.
All in all, we can recommend Scuba Legends Lanzarote to everyone!

Excellent experience - I was in Lanzarote the first week of June. I booked a refresher dive and then two double dives from Playa Chica. Excellent organisation, timing and the right size of equipment. Nice and patient instructors.

Pleasant diving experience - I had great experience with Scuba Legends. I was 10 days in Lanzarote and booked 5 days diving with Scuba Legends 2 days AOWC and 3 days fun dives, 11 dives in total. Every dive with the dive instructor Adrian was a great new comfortable and pleasant experience and there is a lot of life and beautiful underwater scenery to see in the waters around Lanzarote. When I return to Lanzarote I will definitely dive with Scuba Legends again!
