An Interesting and Enjoyable Day Trip - Rachid of Agadir Journey is an excellent guide and driver. Helpful and knowledgeable on all aspects of his country of which he is an excellent unofficial ambassador. Our group of 12 people, predominantly French-speakers but with some English speakers too, gelled well. We learnt a lot about Agadir as well as our 2 destinations, Taroudant and the Tiout Oasis, where we also benefited from local guides. The market inside the old city walls of Taroudant is more intimate and less frenetic than its counterparts in Marrakesh and Agadir. The walk through the Tiout Oasis was a showcase for some wonderful agricultural achievements as well as delightful scenery. In summary, a day well spent in good hands and with nice fellow travellers.

Taroudan Morocco "authentic" - Very nice excursion to Taroudan, typical city of Morocco with its ramparts and small streets. Our guide knew his city very well and was very cultured. Then departure for a meal in a beautiful place overlooking a palm grove we visited. Congratulations to our driver Rachid who was perfect and very friendly.

Great day, Kate. Thanks to Agadir Journey. - Excellent day, we returned enchanted! We visited Tiout, an oasis and its palm grove with Amid, a great guide who has a lot of humor. I have trouble walking and I was able to do the whole walk thanks to Amid who took his time, without rushing and I thank him for it. He even convinced me to climb on a donkey guided by Aisha to cross the palm grove. The excess of 50MDH was worth it. ́The oasis was surprising with freshness and Amid explained the irrigation system and the sharing of water among the inhabitants. The meal in the restaurant of the casbah overlooking the plain, the village up to the Atlas Mountains was hearty and delicious. Chicken tagine with candied lemon with its semolina and vegetables. The cakes were very nice. Aziz our driver / guide with impeccable driving took over to take us on a tour of Taroudent and its souk. It was a little long and I was tired. What a beautiful outing to discover Morocco inland. I strongly advise.

Amazing Taroudant & Tiout day trip - This was one of the best guided tours I’ve ever experienced! The journey began with a hotel pick-up by our skilled driver, Abdul, who quickly became our small group's knowledgeable guide. The first stop was nothing short of spectacular: goats on trees😁! We had plenty of time to take pictures and videos of this unique sight and even chat with the friendly shepherd. Next, we visited a charming fruit farm, primarily growing oranges and lemons. At the entrance, there was a cozy café offering coffee, Moroccan tea, and pastries. After a quick breakfast, we continued to Taroudant, where we spent 1.5–2 hours exploring the city and its vibrant market. Abdul expertly guided us through the bustling souk, stopping at souvenir shops, spice stalls, and traditional clothing stores. One of the highlights was visiting a local argan oil cooperative, where we witnessed traditional oil extraction methods. The products, from cooking oils to cosmetics, were available for purchase on-site. After our Taroudant tour, we headed to the picturesque village of Tiout for a delicious lunch featuring tajine, couscous, bread, and Moroccan mint tea. The views were simply breathtaking, with idyllic scenes straight out of a postcard 😍. Post-lunch, a local guide took us on an informative tour of the oasis, explaining traditional harvesting and water-gathering methods. You can explore the oasis on foot or by donkey; I recommend walking to fully enjoy the experience. (Pro tip: always carry some cash to tip your local guides!) Finally, Abdul met us at the base of the Tiout Kasbah to conclude the trip and drove us back to the hotel. All in all, this was an absolutely fantastic journey into authentic Morocco. Initially, I planned to visit Taroudant on my own, but I’m so glad I booked this guided tour and enjoyed a first-class experience. 10/10 – Highly recommended!!🎉
