Amazing Taroudant & Tiout day trip - This was one of the best guided tours I’ve ever experienced! The journey began with a hotel pick-up by our skilled driver, Abdul, who quickly became our small group's knowledgeable guide. The first stop was nothing short of spectacular: goats on trees😁! We had plenty of time to take pictures and videos of this unique sight and even chat with the friendly shepherd. Next, we visited a charming fruit farm, primarily growing oranges and lemons. At the entrance, there was a cozy café offering coffee, Moroccan tea, and pastries. After a quick breakfast, we continued to Taroudant, where we spent 1.5–2 hours exploring the city and its vibrant market. Abdul expertly guided us through the bustling souk, stopping at souvenir shops, spice stalls, and traditional clothing stores. One of the highlights was visiting a local argan oil cooperative, where we witnessed traditional oil extraction methods. The products, from cooking oils to cosmetics, were available for purchase on-site. After our Taroudant tour, we headed to the picturesque village of Tiout for a delicious lunch featuring tajine, couscous, bread, and Moroccan mint tea. The views were simply breathtaking, with idyllic scenes straight out of a postcard 😍. Post-lunch, a local guide took us on an informative tour of the oasis, explaining traditional harvesting and water-gathering methods. You can explore the oasis on foot or by donkey; I recommend walking to fully enjoy the experience. (Pro tip: always carry some cash to tip your local guides!) Finally, Abdul met us at the base of the Tiout Kasbah to conclude the trip and drove us back to the hotel. All in all, this was an absolutely fantastic journey into authentic Morocco. Initially, I planned to visit Taroudant on my own, but I’m so glad I booked this guided tour and enjoyed a first-class experience. 10/10 – Highly recommended!!🎉

Great day out - We had a very enjoyable day and definitely recommend this trip. The walk around the orange grove was lovely and we saw the tree of goats which was fun. The service station was clean and we had a nice coffee and pancake bread which came with honey and was a lovely start to the day The city is very pretty and the guide (Abdul) took time to show us around the Medina walls first and we did not feel rushed. We had a local guide joined us in the Medina who was also very friendly and made sure no one got lost. There were stops for various sales options but not too pushy. The oasis was lovely. Lunch was good although we did not get to sit in the garden area which was a shame but loads of food. Drinks are not included which I never quite understand but is common here. They were 15 MAD each and you pay at the end. We then had a third guide who took us a walk starting off with an optional donkey which was fun and more difficult than it looks! The English was good, better than on some other trips we have done and the oasis was beautiful. Very lush. Overall a great trip and the best one we have done this holiday so far.

Pleasant day - The tour was supposed to last 8 hours and lasted 10 hours, our guide preferring to take the time rather than rush us. We've been hanging out in the shops of Taroudant's souk. The visit to the Argan store was not useful to me, especially since it is not the basic production area of Argan. That said, it was quite nice because we really took the time, he didn’t hurry us once. Lunch break was a little late around 3 pm, in a beautiful little Riad, in the Oasis of Tioute, a hearty and excellent meal. (Tajine ET couscous) Then donkey ride (no need to go up there, you could follow on foot next door) in the palm grove of Tiout, but it was still necessary to give a tip (“50 MAD minimum”) at the end of the small walk in the palm grove, but very nice and super pretty, with superb views of the mountains and the Kasbah of Tiout. It was very interesting to see their operating system for irrigation. Our guide Abdul was very friendly. In conclusion, day trip, not too tiring, with a not too long journey.

Good day out - Good little trip. Guide was helpful and knowledgeable. Taroudant souk is ok. Stopped at a store to buy some nuts and figs but no real free time to go explore on our own, which is a shame. Ended with a stop at the argon sales shop for what seems to be the expected sales pitch with many of these city trips. Much like they did with time shares back in the day, but we did all this before, so we just stayed outside and had a drink. The meal was nice in a great venue with spectacular views of the valley and oasis. Tiout oasis isn't much to write home about. Just farm land at the end of the day which is exactly what they are going to do with it but you will be expecting more. All about the tips for the guide or paying for donkey rides, which they were a bit pushy about. Still, we enjoyed it.

A great visit to Touradant and the Oasis de Tiout. - Comfortable mini van and a lovely lunch. As most of the group was French, there was not a lot of explanation in English and it was difficult to understand what both guides were saying when they did speak English, but they were very friendly.

The trip was well planned, the stay in the oasis was very good, unfortunately there was no explanation on the tour - Missed opportunity So much could have been said about country and people, but nothing. The quick walk through the souk
