Tutorial to Morocco - Very nice sneak peak to Tanger and Morocco. Superb travel guide, thank you! FRS should clarify better that it is mandatory go at border check onboard, during sea voyage. It was little confusing, but everything else did go fine.

Safe, Informative, Enjoyable and a Bargain - Things went smoothly. We chose the tour associated with the ferry service to make sure we didn’t literally miss the boat. The price was excellent we took the cultural tour that included the meal in a typical Moroccan restaurant. They had a three piece musical ensemble playing Moroccan instruments, music and wearing Moroccan garb. The experience is amazing. The drinks of juice and coffee are an extra €2 each. They will pass for tips for the band and wait staff, non obligatory, so have some cash. The tour guide gives the tour in English, French and Spanish. His mastery of these languages was amazing. They are constantly looking for everyone and counting heads to keep you all together. They will take to a couple of places to do shopping that was prearranged: a store with all handcrafted items and a natural spice and herb store. At the end of the tour we had 15 minutes to browse in stores near in the Medina. Wonderful tour! They made you feel safe and well cared for. It was informative and enjoyable. We highly recommend this Cultural Tour.

Day trip to Tanjier. - Great trip. Saw a lot in a short time. We saw all the important places. The lunch was great! Live traditional music played as we ate. The market area was fun with all the shops and different spices and foods. The people in the streets selling trinkets were very aggressive and persistent. Beware! Tour guide did a great job explaining what we were seeing. Only negative was the ferry boarding process. It wasn’t clear when you got to the post who we were supposed to follow. Don’t forget your passports. You’ll have to show them a dozen times coming and going!! The ferry crossing was pleasant. They have a cafe and restrooms on board with comfortable seating. All in all a great experience.

Worth It If You Venture Off - We had a good time. The ferry ticket included transport from/to the ferry terminal in Tangier to a location near the Petit Socco. We then had the option to stay with the guide or explore on our own until it was time to return to the port. We ventured on our own and enjoyed our time. When we met back up with the others, they said the guided tour was a little sales-heavy on souvenirs, etc, which we had expected. Better to just explore on your own. Ferry was about 5-10 minutes late to depart in both directions, but the FRS/DFDS staff were very friendly, and the boat was comfortable—no complaints. Overall solid service.

Nice day trip from Tarifa to Tangier - I booked the day trip from Tarifa to Tangier by ferry incl. city tour with multilingual guide and lunch and guided tour of Kasba and pharmacy sales show through TripAdvisor. Everything worked out brilliantly. Thanks to low season found a parking space in the port directly at the ferry office of the DFDS. Not cheap at 15 euros (less percentages for the ferry ticket), but very practical. You really should be there at least 90 minutes before departure. The exchange us ferry ticket was easy and there is a sticker for the guided tour. The ferry takes a good hour and in time you complete the entry formalities for Morocco on the ship. Pass is better, but it also goes for the day trip via an organizer with the Perso. Arrived in Tangier we were expected by the tour guide and a minibus. He showed us the new town and switsched between Spanish and English with interludes of German and French. We were only 9 people. French, German and Spanish. The mandatory camel ride was of course not to be missed, but we were also not pushed to do so and 2 € for it was not a rip-off. We stopped at beautiful viewpoints and then there was a guided tour of the Kasba. It was not crowded as Friday and many shopkeepers were in the mosque. In the middle of it, visit the restaurant , where musicians played us, who also brought emotions across. The service was very polite and attentive. And the place very appealing and the food that was included was good. Only the drinks we had to pay for. Then we went to a funny sales event in a pharmacy. I considered it a play. The vocabulary was really very skilled and with a lot of humor. Now I just have to try if it really works with the weight loss herbs... grin.. Then there were only 15 minutes left for shopping for souvenirs, as in winter, the ferries only run to a limited extent and our ferry started its way back to Tarifa at 3 pm. I enjoyed the Zag

Prima - In itself fine but very short. You will be on the road for about four hours and in Tangier for four hours. A super nice guide though. Also the food was delicious!

We were met on the ferry... - We were met on the ferry by guide and not given understandable directions regarding entry requirements. This resulted in a kerfuffle upon entry into Tangier requiring us to to back onto the ferry and getting the proper stamps. Guide did not explain this properly and then was visibly angry with us for not getting it done.

FRS / DFDS DECEPTION - The guide in Tanger skipped the visit to the palace of mendoubia, gave us many meaningless tours, put us in two stores that he had agreed to buy and made free time half an hour scarce instead of an hour and a half that is what is hired. I MADE A CLAIM AND THEY TOLD ME THAT ACCORDING TO THEIR VERSION ALL OK. I do not recommend it because in addition to seeing that it is not the contracted they laugh in your face when you claim. It's cheaper to hire for free.
