Amazing Experience. 100% recommend booking a tour. - We got stuck in traffic on our way there and worried we wouldn't be able to make our booking. They were very accommodating to us and ensured they set aside a guide to give us a tour when we arrived. Our guide's name was Ronald, and he was fantastic. He made sure to ask us if we were on the lookout for anything specific and made sure to cater our tour to that. We saw macaws(what we were hoping to see), spider monkeys, toucans, lizards, and a whole bunch of other cool plants and animals. All in all, it was a very unforgettable experience and well worth the time and money.

5 ⭐️ - We had a great tour with Ronald. He was so patient with our 2 toddlers who did a fair share of whining :-). We saw monkeys, several rare birds, lizards, spiders, and poisonous tree frogs. We are so glad we booked the tour as we learned a lot and wouldn’t have seen so much without Ronald’s knowledge.

EN varied and educational private tour! - When we arrived in the National Park of Carara, Antonio was already waiting for us. He was born in Carara, did his utmost to show us as much as possible and knew the park like the back of his hand. DAN we have been in two different EN DE area and, besides learning a lot from the trees, plants and fruits in the rainforest, we were able to spot a lot of wildlife. We have seen green frogs, a deer, a blue Mopho butterfly, a group of wild boar, iguanas, howler monkeys and macaws. We were very satisfied!

Carara National Park - We had a fantastic guide, Giavonna- she made sure we saw lots of birds and animals. Her telescope enabled us to view lots of different things we couldn’t have possibly seen with our naked eyes. She was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. It’s obvious Costa Rica is very serious about protecting the environment

Informative, Fun Carara National Park Tour - Our guide Giovanna was very informative and funny. We would not have spotted the toucan, three kinds of monkeys or macaws without her. She was excited as we were to spot animals, birds, frogs & plants. She provided a mixed fruit snack and water (although we brought our own water). Would highly recommend.

Unforgettable tour! - We had a fantastic tour through Carrara National Park with Geovanna! She really went out of her way to tailor the experience to our wishes trying her best to help us see both macaws and monkeys. Thanks to her efforts, we were lucky enough to spot beautiful macaws, spider monkeys, and even some white-faced monkeys.
Geovanna is incredibly knowledgeable, warmhearted, and passionate about nature she truly felt like our Costa Rican mother during the tour. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommended!

Poison frogs, toucans, and monkeys, Oh My! - Our guide Ronald went out of his way to make sure we had a great time. We visited the park after a night of heavy rain and managed to see creatures nonetheless. Thanks for a great morning.

A Tale of Two Trails - Ronaldo was a great guide: friendly, funny, knowledgeable, perceptive and speaking very good English. The first hour or so of our tour, on the paved trails at the southern end of the Carara park, was disappointing bird-wise (it was "low" season), but Ronaldo showed us interesting plants, insects, a poisonous frog and more. When we moved to the rougher (and muddier) trails at the north end, we saw a bunch of howler and spider monkeys and other mammals. Also a lot more birds, with our favorite being a Rufous-tailed Jacamar (which looks like a giant hummingbird) that had just caught a butterfly. Overall it was a very enjoyable tour, largely due to Ronaldo's excellent guiding.
