In the heart for a lifetime... - I can't wait to be able to go back with my older son and listen to his questions. I've always enjoyed this museum...

Beyond expectations - A truly beautiful and interesting museum, the building has been completely renovated so inside and modern the highlights are: the Golds of Taranto, the Tomb of the Athlete, the Venuses of Parabita, the Zeus of Ugento and much more. A compliment also to the Guide very prepared.

Fantastic - One of the best museums we have ever been to, this includes The British Museum in London, every item is very well displayed and the artefacts are almost perfect condition after 3000 years!

Worth visiting - Very nice collection, interesting. Many Roman and Greek exhibits. Better and more detailed explanations at the exhibits would be good. Duration around 1-2 hours, well done in the midday heat, as nice and cool inside.

Spectacular - In my opinion one of the most beautiful museums we have in Italy. We took audio guide having a small child and not being able to do guided tour, but it is very intuitive to use and our older daughter was able to follow everything. Very nice also the interactive stations

Outstanding experience! - I highly recommend visiting this museum with guide, Michele, who has such great knowledge and passion for the history. Michele had me in awe and had me excited learning about Roman history, the displayed artifacts, Taranto, Italy, Puglia region, etc. He interpreted information to me in English and I was very thankful. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to soak it all in. This is an incredible museum and not to be missed when in Puglia! Enjoy!

A beautiful Greek and Roman collection! - The beautifully decorated (and completely renovated since a previous visit) museum is very proud of its latest acquisition: a group of statues of Orpheus and two Sirens. They were sold in pieces as looted art to the Paul Getty Museum in L.A., but have been back in Italy since April 2023.

Fascinating museum - Taranto Museum visited last August 2023 with my family, passing through the beautiful Puglia. This museum has numerous archaeological artefacts of very high historical value, with the possibility of taking an extraordinary tour. Highly recommended together with the visit to the Aragonese Castle.
