Very interesting excursion with guide at the top. - The excursion passes through Savoca and Forza d Agro where the guide Andrea shows us all the filming locations of the Godfather. The guide is very professional and very friendly. You can't see the hours going by during the tour.

Thr Godfather tour is an opportunity you can't refuse - The Godfather tour was an amazing part of our trip to Sicily. Our tour guide Christy is a Sicilian local and was super friendly and knowledgeable, not just on The Godfather film, but also the history of Sicily and the Mafia evolved. Visiting Savoca and Forza d'Agro was a great way to be immersed and learn about the history of the film, and to our surprise, Christy actually had a crucial part in helping the film's director Francis Ford Coppola pick locations, so it really added to the feel of the tour when someone was so influential in its production. Visit Bar Vitelli where Michael Corleone asks Apollonia's father for his daughters hand in marriage (but be prepared to pay for refreshments), then take photos of the two churches used in the famous wedding scenes. I definitely recommend this half day excursion to anyone looking to immerse themselves in the film and learn some Sicilian history too!

Good trip but transportation was not great - Trip was what we expected two locations both linked to the Godfather films, guide was helpful and informative. However started trip in mini bus before transferring to the coach, the mini bus had limited air conditioning and was extremely uncomfortable. Two people overcome by the heat did not connect with the coach they got a taxi back to Taormina. Also on the return journey another couple were dropped a 1km from their hotel and walked the remainder as the transport for them was delayed.

Great views , good guide . Not enough time - Beautiful views , travel up high so you see across land to sea and other areas. Isabella tour guide , very knowledgeable. You could stay with guide or make your way to the church and areas from the godfather films yourself. I stayed then wandered off or else you don't get much time to look yourself properly. Would have liked more time in Savoca to look in the crypt and little shops , pick up godfather gifts, but no time . Bar Vitelli, packed and so hot. I looked at prices of drinks and snacks , wow rip off. Owner doesn't want you in there unless you paying out. Also blocks way into main buildings so you can't see anything . I walked out . Doesn't look like film, it's covered in greenery , can't even see the bar sign. In all recommend as villages are ancient and medieval, you can remember areas from the 3 films . Views from bus are amazing. Shame the group I was with were more interested in finding a bar then listening to Isabella or looking at the churches and buildings . Some had never even seen the films ??? Oh dear

Extremely disappointing - We were picked up in a small bus by a rude woman. It was 35 degrees outside and about 55 in that bus. No air. People felt sick. We were brought to the other bus that thankfully had air. Too late for one family who had to abandon the tour because of how sick they felt. My family was lightheaded the rest of the day. No atmosphere, hardly any talk or info about the Godfather - nothing like it promises. I had to google everything. No music, no good vibes. It was boring. Waste of money - tourist trap.
