Taormina - Your personal tour leader will pick you up at your accommodation/port in Taormina area, and you will start your wonderful private travel to the highest active volcano in Europe. Driving by comfortable, air-conditioned car through the small authentic mountain villages, you will admire unforgettable picturesque views of Sicilian countryside full of oranges and lemon plantations, olives and almond trees, houses and churches built of lava stone.
Our first stop will be in Zafferana Etnea, small charming village on Etna slope, famous with its honey. You will visit a local honey store and taste the produce of the fertile volcano terrain - honey, olive oil, olives, wines and liquors. -
Mount Etna - You will continue to ascend Etna reaching “Rifugio Sapienza” station at 2000 mt. Here you can visit famous Silvestri Craters, admire breathtaking panoramas, visit souvenir shops offering gifts of lava, refresh yourself in some bar or restaurant. Optional ascent by cable car and jeep with the authorized Alpine guide to 3000 mt. If the tour starts in Messina you will visit the Sartorius Craters.
After visiting Mt.Etna, the guide will chauffeur you in relax to one of the best wineries on Etna slope. At the winery you will have will have a tour of the estate, see how the grape is growing, and visit the cellars, while the expert sommelier explains you all about the wine making process and the history of this family run winery. Then you will have traditional delicious and hearty lunch of locally produced cheeses, salami, prosciutto, fresh bread, olives and home-made olive oil and a traditional pasta dish. A professional sommelier will offer you 4 glasses of Sicilian Etna red and white wines.

Your friendly private guide will pick you up at your accommodation, port or train station in Taormina, Giardini Naxos, Letojanni or nearby Area. You will get to know the history of volcano creation, about eruptions, culture, myths, and folklore of “Mamma Etna” and Sicily itself. Driving by private car through authentic mountain villages and visit some extinct craters.
Then you will visit one of the best Etna wineries and have lunch of fresh local food with fine red and white Sicilian wines.

An Unforgettable Mt. Etna Adventure with Corrado - I had an amazing tour of Mt. Etna with Corrado! He was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, sharing fascinating insights about the volcano’s history, including the various lava flows and their impact on the surrounding areas. We explored a lava cave, where Corrado explained its formation, and visited a local honey store, where we tasted delicious varieties unique to the region. His expertise made the experience come alive, and we were treated to stunning views along the way. Corrado’s storytelling added a personal touch that made the tour both educational and memorable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about Mt. Etna and its incredible history. A truly unforgettable experience!

Best day ever!!! - Best day ever!!!! Carrado was our private tour guide and was amazing! Great communication and flexibility with our departure times as we were driving from Italy. He can pick you up at your hotel! Carrado was very knowledgeable of the area. We learned things on the ride up Etna. He had extra outerwear in case we needed it, water. We decided to take the cable car and hike a little to the craters. It was a beautiful sunny day above the clouds! AND.. Etna erupted less than a week before and was still having small eruptions as we got closer. He took us to a lava cave that we never would have found on our own. Then to the BEST little winery for tasting and amazing food all prepared fresh. The winery is run by brothers called Vinni Lizzio! It’s February so we were the only ones there and felt like part of the family. In summer you can sit outside with spectacular views!! Book it.. you will not regret a thing!!

Perfect experience! - Corrado is extremely polite and patient. He made sure that I enjoyed every bit of the experience, and even went the extra mile to accommodate a spot not on the itinerary even though it meant an extra hour of driving. The winery experience is one of a kind with awesome wine, narration and delicious lunch. Highly recommend this tour.

The perfect way to explore Mt Etna & the wine country nearby - We had such a fantastic day with Omar our guide - Both walking up Mount Etna, Learning about the volcano and the areas around it and the absolute beautiful lunch and visit to the small family winery near the volcano. A perfect lunch and a wonderful day! Cannot recommend it enough!

Great Experience! - What a great experience! Our guide Daniele made our whole day one of the highlights of our visit to Sicily (an unscheduled stop was our favorite part!) His knowledge of the volcano was impressive and the winery and farmhouse lunch was very enjoyable. I'd highly recommend!

Highly recommended. Great Mount Etna Hike tailored to my personal needs. - I was very impressed by the personal service I received from this company.
I was looking for a customised Private Hiking tour of Mount Etna according to my requirements.
I enquired with several different companies without much luck. Some wouldn't respond. Some didn't respond with what I wanted and some either refused to run the tour due to the season, or was complacent and slack in their responses. Not this company. From the word go, everything was so professional. I loved the service I received from Jessica over email who patiently explained everything to me, and made very useful suggestions about what area to hike in, based on my specific needs.
A couple of days before the tour, the owner Pasquale phoned me up to explain the state of the weather conditions at Mount Etna. The weather was poor and an offering was made for an alternative day to maximise the chances of a good experience. However I only had that one day so I couldn't swap it and I still wanted to go provided it was safe enough to do so and I was going to let the hiking guide make that call. Pasquale was understanding and patient and agreed.
Luckily the day of my hike, while going up there was not great weather, when we got to the first hike spot and beyond that, everything cleared up like I hoped and yes it was freezing cold and windy but the experience was fabulous and I got what I wanted and more.
Elena was a great hiking guide. Astute and prepared. She had hiking sticks and made sure I was safe, checking on me all the time. She was flexible and lovely and we had a great personal chat. She had a thick jacket for me as well.
I would suggest that the company provide some guidance to guests in future about what to bring and wear in terms of clothing because the temperature up there was nowhere near what it was on the ground. I caught a bit of a cough after that but luckily had medicine to clear it up in a few days.
Also perhaps the company might want to invest in some company cars or a nicer, larger car.
Otherwise I highly recommend this company because they provide an excellent, personal, professional, caring and accurate service, very much tailored to my needs. They didn't need any deposit as well so there's nothing to lose. I would happily use the company again.

Lovely day with Corrado around Etna. - Had a great day with Corrado who collected us on time and accompanied on the Etna chairlift, weather was great, organised by Corrado 👌, amazing views we took bus to crater rim. Visit to Honey/wine shop and lunch on way back to drop off. Lunch was excellent being royally entertained by Antonio as one of the family operating the winery. Bought a few bottles of his unusual but excellent wines. Well done Corrado for a memorable day with good knowledgable guide/host.
