Tarangire National Park - Walking, Game Drives, and Night Game Drives
Tarangire National Park - Meet an experienced English-speaking guide at your hotel in Arusha at 8:30 am, and drive with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, meet an armed ranger and embark on a morning walking safari around the park. During the walking safari, enjoy the sight of enormous baobab trees, acacia woodlands, and towering termite mounds. You might also encounter migrating herds of Cape buffalo, wildebeests, and zebras, or spot olive baboons, giraffes, impalas, and gazelles.
After lunch, continue with a game drive, offering opportunities to see zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, Maasai giraffes, fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok), and predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. After sunset, drive to Tarangire public campsite for an early dinner.
Night Game Drives - After dinner, leave the camp at 20:00 for night game drives until 23:00, then return to Tarangire Public Campsite for an overnight stay.
Tarangire National Park Game Drives
Tarangire National Park - Early morning at 5:45 am, take your breakfast box and proceed for a sunrise game drive, continuing until the afternoon before returning to the camp for a hot lunch. After lunch, resume game drives until late evening, then drive to Migombani campsite for dinner and overnight.
Serengeti National Park Game Drive
Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive en route to Pimbi Campsite in Central Serengeti, with a hot lunch along the way. Pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where various wildlife can be observed on the journey to Serengeti. Witness the incredible migration of a million wildebeests, driven by ancient instincts, as they navigate crocodile-infested waters and produce over 8,000 calves daily during their 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage. Dinner and overnight at Pimbi Campsite.
Serengeti National Park Game Drive
Serengeti National Park - Early at 5:30 am, take your breakfast box and proceed for a sunrise game drive until 8:30 am, then return to the camp, collect your luggage and hamper box, and continue with a full-day drive in this magnificent national park. Enjoy a hot lunch in the bush. Guides will select the best spotting locations for the season, with a picnic lunch, allowing time at the Hippo pool to observe these majestic animals alongside crocodiles, watch a large pride of lions, and be amidst the migration, sometimes surrounded by wildebeests and zebras. This diverse landscape offers exceptional game viewing, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, lions, and possibly elusive leopards and cheetahs, along with abundant birdlife. After sunset, drive to Pimbi Campsite for dinner and overnight.
Ngorongoro Crater Game Drive
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro and descend 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor for six hours of game viewing. Spot endangered black rhinos, lions, elephants, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeests, and other wildlife. Enjoy a hot lunch on the crater floor. At Ngorongoro Crater Soda Lake, observe various bird species, including flamingos. These animals support large predators like lions and leopards, and scavengers such as hyenas and jackals. In the late evening, drive to Simba Campsite for dinner and overnight.
Visit Olmoti Crater - Waterfalls and Walk to Empakai Crater Rim
Descend into Empakai Crater
Empakaai Crater - After breakfast, take a leisurely six-hour walk up and down through the stunning scenery, viewing the magnificent Maasai plains and the Maasai Mountain of God, to the rim of Empakai Crater. Have lunch on the crater floor, just at the lake’s edge. Buffaloes, waterbucks, reedbucks, zebras, wildebeests, and various bird species can be seen up close during the walk around the lake. After lunch, ascend to the rim and then drive back to Arusha.
