Incredible 4-Day Safari Adventure! - Our 4-day safari was an absolutely unforgettable experience! The accommodations within the national parks were amazing – comfortable, well-located, and truly immersed in the stunning natural surroundings.
A major highlight was the incredible food we enjoyed throughout the trip. Our personal chef, who traveled with us, prepared the most delicious meals, even in the heart of the wilderness! It was a real treat.
Of course, the wildlife viewing was spectacular. We were thrilled to see a huge variety of animals, including the coveted Big Five! Our guide was excellent at spotting wildlife and shared fascinating insights about the animals and their environment.
Our driver, who we affectionately nicknamed "Rasta Man," was fantastic! He was not only a skilled and safe driver but also incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor, making the journeys between locations a lot of fun.
We wholeheartedly recommend this safari for anyone looking for an amazing wildlife adventure with top-notch accommodations, delicious food, and a fantastic guide.

Suricata Safari Made Our Dream Safari Come True! - We just came back from an incredible 4-day safari with Suricata Safari, and without a doubt, this has been the best experience of our lives so far. My wife and I had the chance to visit Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater — three breathtaking locations full of wildlife and stunning landscapes.
Our guide, Damian, truly made the experience unforgettable. With over 8 years of experience, his knowledge, passion, and instinct for finding the best wildlife spots were simply outstanding. Thanks to him, we had the rare opportunity to see the Big Five — something we heard is quite difficult to achieve, especially in such a short time. Damian always went the extra mile, sometimes literally, to make sure we had the best views and the closest encounters with the animals. His ability to position the vehicle for perfect photo and video opportunities was a real bonus — we came home with some once-in-a-lifetime shots!
Another special mention goes to our chef, James, who made every meal a highlight in itself. Suricata Safari does something unique: they bring a chef along to prepare fresh and delicious Tanzanian meals every day. This was a huge advantage compared to other tour companies we saw, who didn't offer anything close to the quality or authenticity of the food we enjoyed. James introduced us to so many wonderful dishes — every meal felt like a celebration.
A few tips if you’re considering Suricata Safari:
Trust your guide and ask lots of questions — Damian’s knowledge added so much to every sighting.
Bring a good camera with a zoom lens; you’ll be so close to the animals, you’ll want to capture it all.
Don’t worry about the food — Suricata has you covered better than you can imagine!
Pack warm clothes for early morning drives, especially in the Ngorongoro area — it can get surprisingly chilly.
Overall, Suricata Safari exceeded all our expectations. From personalized service to unforgettable wildlife encounters, everything was handled with professionalism and heart. We would recommend them 100% to anyone dreaming of an authentic, well-organized, and truly magical safari experience.

4-Day Rainseason Safari - I wouldn’t want to stay in any lodges when having the opportunity to sleep inside the wilderness - the campsites were well maintained and we had great fun because the team took care of us. Food was top!

Top safari serengetti and ngorongoro - Was insane. All the wildlife we've seen. Could have dreamed! More than once, too. Amiri, our guide has sometimes been able to show everything, and it is special how well and quickly he spots animals in the distance.
Very nice guy, and nice with our kids aged 10 and almost 12. These are also good travelers, can read for hours because you are also on the road a lot on safari. So if you're going with young kids, they should be able to do day.
Amiri drove calmly and safely. No stress.. :)

Best safari ever, highly recommended! - We had an absolutely fantastic safari with Suricata. Amiri was a wonderful guide and a great and safe driver. We saw so many animals, it was just unbelievable, we never expected to see the big 5 and so much more in a few days. All the team are really nice as well, and the food was great - even the kids liked it. Highly recommended!

Unforgettable Safari Experience - Septembre 2024, I had the incredible opportunity to go on a safari that I’ll never forget, and a huge part of what made it so special was our guide, Rocky. From the moment we met him, it was clear we were in the best hands possible. Rocky wasn’t just a guide – he was a storyteller, a wildlife expert, and honestly, the heart of our entire adventure.
He knew every inch of the land, every track, every rustle in the bushes. One second we’d be driving through seemingly quiet plains, and the next he’d spot a lion lounging in the tall grass like it was the most natural thing in the world. His ability to read nature was almost supernatural. Thanks to him, we saw elephants crossing right in front of us, cheetahs basking in the sun, and even a rhino calmly grazing in the distance. We were lucky enough to witness all of the Big Five, but beyond the checklist, what really stayed with me was the way Rocky made us feel the magic of the place.
He shared facts, legends, personal stories, and little details that made the whole environment come alive. Rocky never rushed us, always made sure we were comfortable, and somehow managed to keep our group laughing even during the early morning drives.
If you’re planning a safari , you’ll return with memories that feel like a dream, stories to tell for years, and a deep sense of connection to nature.

10/10 Safari experience with Frederick - would book again! - Our 4 Day Safari was everything that we hoped for when we booked it. Frederick, our guide, was the absolute best! Not only is he a great driver and knows how to position the car for great photos, but he is incredibly knowledgeable about all the wildlife, the environment and the history of the area. This meant that we learned a lot on our Safari and that helped to make it such a memorable experience. I highly recommend requesting Frederick when you book your Safari, you will not be disappointed and we would love him to guide us again! The camps we stayed at were fantastic - you feel immersed in the wild, but also safe and comfortable. Suricata lodge is outstanding and was the perfect place to spend our last night. Everything ran smoothly, including the airport transfers eventhough our flight was delayed. We would absolutely use Suricata again, and don’t forget to ask for Frederick!

Lux Honeymoon (Mid Range Safari) - This was the most AMAZING experience with the BEST guide in all of Tanzania (Damien). Suricata Safari is nothing less than world class and you know you’re in good hands right away. From their customer service, briefers, handlers, guides, and those who work at the Suricata Boma Lodge which is also a lux resort with amazing views of Lake Manyara. You feel secure and well taken care of from the jump. We did the mid range 4 day safari staying at the Suricate Boma Lodge, Tanzania Bush Camp, and Ang’ata Lodge and each one was unique, clean, excellent service and beautiful. The staff in each lodge was spectacular! We will be bringing family with us on our return safari trip and we will definitely be going through Suricata again and requesting Damien as our Chief of Safari!! The BEST honeymoon experience! - I traveled to Tanzania with my husband for our honeymoon. We had the most AMAZING experience we could’ve imagined. The accommodations and the food each meal was perfect. Each place we were greeted with kindness and smiles. Ray at the Tanzania Bush Camp was above and beyond! She even sang to us during dinner. We were afraid to come in the rainy season for fear we wouldn’t see any animals but we saw EVERYTHING. Even baby cheetahs and the elusive Black rhino. Our driver, Damien, was beyond expectations. He was an extremely skilled driver and very knowledgeable to every animal! The other drivers from other safaris seemed to rely on him to find the best sights. He knew the patterns of every animal and where we had a good chance of finding them. We joked that he was famous because every driver and every person we passed knew him. He strategically maneuvered through rough terrains and we always felt extremely safe. When we come back we are 100% requesting him!! Our experience was definitely elevated specifically because of Damien. You cannot go wrong with Suricata Safaris. The attention to detail to each guest is amazing. Thank you Suricata Safaris for the best honeymoon!

I just finished the incredible opportunity to go on a safari, and I cannot recommend our guide, Shabany, and our chef, Tito, highly enough!
Shabany is an exceptional guide and driver—knowledgeable, professional, and truly passionate about wildlife. His deep understanding of the animals, their behaviors, and the landscapes made the experience unforgettable. He had an amazing ability to spot animals from a distance, ensuring we saw the best of what the safari had to offer. Beyond his expertise, he was friendly, patient, and always made sure we were comfortable and having a great time. Thanks to him, we had an adventure of a lifetime!
And then there’s Tito, the mastermind behind the meals! I can confidently say that his food was unbelievable—every meal was a delight, exceeding all expectations. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, he consistently created mouthwatering dishes that could rival top restaurants. The flavors, presentation, and variety were simply outstanding, making every dining experience a highlight of the trip.
If you’re lucky enough to have Shabany as your guide and Tito as your chef, you are in for an extraordinary safari experience. Thank you both for making this adventure so special!
