Nyerere National Park - Take an early morning flight from Zanzibar to Selous. Upon arrival, we’ll bring along your lunch box and embark on a game drive through the park in a tourist vehicle, finishing by the afternoon. If you opt for an additional activity, you can join a night game drive, which offers a high chance of spotting nocturnal wildlife such as leopards, lions, genets, civets, porcupines, aardvarks, rabbits, and bush babies. If you prefer not to do the night game drive, you can enjoy an evening boat safari, which is ideal for cooler temperatures and stunning sunset views. Should you choose the night game drive, the boat safari will be scheduled for the evening of the second day.
Game Drive at Selous National Park
Selous Game Reserve - Start your day with breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. You’ll explore the park’s lakes and diverse wildlife, and visit the mountains where World War II events took place, including the grave of Frederick Selous. The highlight will be a visit to the hot springs in the mountains, where you can enjoy a swim or bath amidst the beautiful landscape and wildlife of Selous.
Bush Walking Safari
Nyerere National Park - Begin your morning with an early bush walking safari in the Selous wilderness, guided by a bushman. Return for breakfast, then set out again for a village walking safari until the afternoon. After lunch, check out and head to the airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar.
