Commence from Zanzibar at 8:00am or Dar es Salaam at 8:20am on a communal charter flight that will take an hour to reach an Airstrip in the Selous Game Reserve. After landing, we set off on a game drive to witness the gifts that nature has to offer! Expect sights of elephants, lions, elands, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, wild dogs, lesser kudu, hippos, and crocodiles who all inhabit this vast refuge measuring 50,000 sq. km, nearly untouched by human activity. The park boasts a wide spectrum of vegetation zones, from dense underbrush to open wooded grassland. After a picnic lunch in the bush, rest for an hour before proceeding with the game drive in the heart of the African Savannah, brimming with wildlife. Watch as the wildlife heads towards lakes and rivers to quench their thirst. Continue game drives until about 4:00pm before catching your return flight to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar. Despite being a short safari, it offers an enriching experience for those with limited time.
