Unforgettable experience! - We did a 5 days private safari and it was amazing! Our guide Nicholas made everything better. The accommodations were super comfortable and we had the best time exploring the parks. Specially serengueti which was our absolute favourite.

Amazing Safari tour with outstanding guiding and service - The Safari was great! We chose a mid-range budget 5 days tour and got a private tour for our family with excellent value for the price.
Thanks to Issa, organization and communication was perfect before and during our stay and flexible to adapt to our needs.
All accomodations were well selected, and we especially loved the two beautiful lodges in Karatu and the tented camp in the heart of Serengeti.
Our experienced Safari guide Deo was very pleasant and always helpful, with impressive knowledge and passion for the protection of wildlife and nature.

9 Day Tanzanian African Safari with 5 Days in Zanzibar - My wife and I booked a 14 day Safari/Beach excursion through Destiny Explorers. We visited all 5 of the major parks in Tanzania, along with 5 days in Zanzibar. Issa- The owner put together a wonderful package, which included the parks and 3 days of cultural experiences. We were able to see all 5 of the major animals listed and were up close the whole time. Our guide, Tom, was amazing and spoke perfect English. He was very accommodating to every request and need we had.
We woke up every day and hit the road around 8 am and usually finished around 4-5pm. If you are looking for a great tour company, I highly recommend Destiny Explorers.

Exotic but unforgettable experience - An experience that must be done at least once in a lifetime. More than 1000 kmts traveled through 5 parks! Seeing so many animals in their natural state is striking. But what we enjoyed the most was the visit to the Masaai village. Unmissable!

Amazing Experience! - My wife and I spent several hours researching various safari packages offered by several tour companies. We decided to go with Destiny Explorers and we were not disappointed. Our contact, Issa, was so professional answering my many questions via email. His timely and detailed response was appreciated and helped us prepare for our safari.
Once we arrived our assigned guide for the first day was Thomas. He was so much fun and informative as he took us to the Arusha National Park. From day 2 through our last day our guide was Nico. We made friends with him right away. He's so kind and informative. He told us about each and every animal, the culture and so much more. He never got tired driving us for hours each day through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and more.
We were thrilled to see so many animals. Our guide, Nico was skilled at driving and spotting animals at the same time. He didn't miss a thing. We saw the big 5 (my wife got a glimpse of a rhino, I missed it) and so many other animals. We got so many amazing photos and videos.
The lodging that Issa selected for our stay were wonderful. We stayed at a variety of places including a luxury tent on the Serengeti. That was amazing!
Our safari trip was for 8 days. Issa was wonderful to help coordinate a custom package for my wife and I. Someone from Destiny Explorers was there to pick us up at the airport and we had a personal guide all the way through to the final drop off on our last day. We were always in good hands and felt safe everywhere we went.
I could go on and on about how wonderful and amazing our experience was with Destiny Explorers and their skilled team of tour guides. They are 5-star top quality. I would recommend them to anyone wanting an amazing Safari experience.

Safari experience of a lifetime - Amazing safari, we managed to see the big five, the driver Tarimo was very patient and he was able to take us to see the big 5. The places that we stayed were great, very beautiful lodges and hotels. Highly recommend. We already want to go back. We definitely recommend Destiny Safari.

A dreamlike safari with a competent team - We booked a 7-day safari. Contact with Issa was competent and quick in advance and our wishes were always taken into account. We got an offer and were then able to exchange individual accommodations. The price was unbeatable. Our guide Tarimo was a great and level-headed driver (which definitely can’t be said of all drivers in Tanzania). He was super sweet, showed us great animals, explained a lot about it and was always approachable for all concerns. In addition, he knew man and mouse and thus always got information where you could just see which animals. The only thing you could possibly complain about is the Jeep we had. The suspension was not the best and together with the road conditions we were sometimes quite shaken up. Besides, the charging sockets unfortunately did not work. But as I said, overall an absolute dream tour!

The animals were amazing but old vehicle, and limited time in National Parks. - We booked a five-day private safari tour with Destiny Explorers. There were some excellent elements and also some areas for improvement worth nothing. There are some tips below that I hope will be of value to future travellers.
The vehicle:
The car provided was in heavily used condition. The seats no longer sit upright, the windows don't lock and several are broken, and the charging ports don’t work. The roof to the vehicle opened and was able to be locked but one of the support bars is broken. The car broke down twice during the tour. Fortunately, it was able to be fixed in about an hour, but it ate into our time in the national parks. It is nice that the safari drivers help each other when vehicles break down but ideally this wouldn’t happen in the middle of a national park.
The itinerary:
We itinerary includes the major parks but seems to be designed to keep costs to a minimum. One thing we didn’t realise is that most of the driving takes place outside the national parks, rather than on game drives. Some of the accommodation is around four hours drive out of the parks, meaning you need to leave early afternoon to get home by dark. This meant that on our first day, we spent around ten hours driving but only three of these were in Tarangire National Park. The driver seemed in a rush to get back so we had limited time in the park even though our understanding is that the passes (included in the price of the tour) are valid for 24 hours from time of entry to the park. Only one of the hotels is actually in a national park.
The parks:
In terms of the parks themselves, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater were great. Lots of animals and we felt we got the true safari experience. We didn’t make it too far inside Tarangire during our few hours on the first day so we didn’t see much. Likewise, we spent around four hours at Manyara and were lucky to see some elephants but otherwise there wasn’t much there. If I had my time again, I’d choose to go only to Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
The accommodation:
The Tukaone Serengeti Camp and Kankari Lodge were standouts, but all three options were good. The buffet breakfasts and dinners were plentiful. The lunches (collected from the hotels and eaten at the parks) were good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The driver:
Overall, he was professional and shared some facts about the parks and animals. He was keen to head back early most days. We spoke to the tour company and they allowed us to leave earlier than listed on the itinerary (6-6:30am instead of 8am) after the first day because we wanted more time inside the parks. All in all, he was alright.
