Great 1/2 day trip to Mnemba Island - Was picked up promptly by Anwary from our hotel and taken to Muyuni beach where we met Ally our guide who was ready for us and guided us to our boat, his knowledge of dolphins, Mbemba island, its history and of the area was exceptional. The boat trip, was great, we saw dolphins, we swam around coral reefs and saw amazing fish and other sea life. Also watching the sandbank appear as the tide went out was fantastic. We were also supplied fresh fruit and water. A great trip made better by our guide (Ally), the boat man and our driver Anwary. Great trip and can highly recommend ❤️

Fabulous - We were looked after very well by our guide Ali and driver. A lovely little trip, definitely worth doing. Saw lots of dolphins, the water and scenery were amazing. A true paradise.

Girls trip - Our trip to Mnemba island was amazing, courtesy of Mr Africa & Ally + Ahmad -our tour guides & the drivers too. They showed very good energy, professionalism & helped really feel calm and immerse ourselves in the experience. We saw dolphins, snorkelled & swam in the ocean, had some fresh fruits provided by the tour team. We felt very well taken care of. Ally & Mr Africa were patient, kind, elaborate in their explanations when we needed it. Later on, we had a sunset cruise which was just magical! The views were to die for! Overall, we had a fabulous girls trip and much of it had to do with our tour team who handled all the details with enthusiasm. Zanzibar is now my favourite vacation destination because of them! Would HIGHLY recommend!

Amazing trip - The tour was amazing great guides. They was super knowledgeable about the water and land marks and very attentive.

a must-have - Masks, snorkel (or full face mask) + fins. An extraordinary underwater adventure to do again and again. If you have other excursions to do during your stay, finish with this one, guaranteed!

Great snorkel spot, actual snorkel time unfortunately much too short! - The organization of the trip was great. We were picked up at the hotel on time at 8am and taken to the departure point of the boats in 20 minutes. Fins were first tried on there, snorkeling and glasses were on the boat. Little note: The equipment with toilets in the "port" is difficult, on the boat there are none. We were on the boat below us, food with water and fruit was very good. The first stop at a small reef near the island was great, we could explore the underwater world all by ourselves. After a short break on board, the captain went back to Zanzibar to go on a "dolphin hunt". To our displeasure, it also turned out to be a "hunt"; countless motorboats raced after emerging dolphins, individual tourists jumped off the boat to "swim" with them. We didn't like this racket. We wanted to snorkel a bit further instead, but our captain gave us only 5 minutes left in a place surrounded by twenty boats and their passengers. We really enjoyed the basic snorkeling experience, but it was much shorter than promised. The description speaks of 5-6 hours, we were back at the hotel at 12 pm. Maybe more transfer time will be factored in, but we were de facto only underwater for maybe 45 minutes. The price for that is quite high.
