- Mikumi National Park - We will pick up our visitors at their respective hotel anywhere in Zanzibar at 05:00 AM. Will have a 1 hour transfer to Karume International Airport, we will reach one hour before departure in the morning and depart at 07:15 AM to Mikumi, we reach at 08:15 AM at Mikumi Airstrip. We will off-board the Airplane and onboard the 4X4 Jeep and start our Mikumi Safari Adventure game drive from 08:30 Am in the morning to 03:30 PM or 04:30 PM evening time. Our guests will experience the wildlife nature of Mikumi National Park. They will see wild animals like lion, elephant, zebra, giraffe, antelope, buffalo, crocodile, hippopotamus, baboon, a wide variety of birds. Also not to forget we will see different tree species at the Mikumi National Park. Then we go back to Mikumi Airstrip and depart by 03:30 / 04:30 back to Zanzibar. We then reach Karume International Airport at 05:30. After arrival and pass through Airport inspection we take a car transfer and reach hotel 07:00 PM.

Unavoidable activity - A memorable day at Mikumi Park with a team of real pros and at their head Antony +255 715 513 963; I really recommend it 👌

Perfect Day at Mikumi - Our honeymoon day trip to Mikumi was perfect. Every part of the trip was stress-free and enjoyable. Barnaba made the hotel transfers and flights seamless. Our guide on the safari made sure we saw every animal that we wanted to see, he even made sure to track down animals that could be seen very close to the vehicle paths. I would highly recommend booking to anyone considering a trip to Mikumi with Captain Barnaba!

Better than a zoo! - The guide Eric was very cool. He did his job showing and guiding through the Safari with a lot of passion, and he is a really good driver who drives safely and precisely.
The only thing we were worried about was, that sometimes it looked like we are disturbing the privacy of the animals. The good thing was, that the guides cared about that too and moved on as quick as possible.

FIRST EXPERIENCE OF A SAFARI - Taking advantage of a stay in STONTOWN in Zanzibar for volunteering, we decided, before leaving Italy, to book with Viator from TRIPADVISOR a day of safari in the MIKUMI park in Tanzania. Perfect organization, they picked us up at the hotel at dawn, took us to the airport and helped us board. After about an hour of flight we landed in the park where near the runway jeeps were waiting for us. Very good Driver / Guide, in the morning safari we saw everything and rare / lucky a lioness that mauled a zebra. Very crude scenes, but it's nature, the food chain, it's Africa. At noon stop for meal and immediately after another safari round. We saw 4 of the big five, elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, all that was missing were the rhinos that Mikumi Park doesn't have. In the late afternoon another return flight of about an hour then taxi to the hotel where we arrived in the evening. All arranged very well. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Fantastic 1 day safari - What a lovely day! Driver arrived on time to collect us from our hotel at 5am in Zanzibar, his car was clean and had aircon (perfect for return trip). We only had 8 days, so wanted to do a 1-day safari, Israel was our tour guide and he was fantastic! His English was good, he was knowledgeable and he was just lovely & super helpful. Israel worked hard to ensure we saw lions close up, zebras, giraffes, elephants, crocodiles, hippopotamuses and a python, and other animals! Lunch provided, varied options for all tastes. Highly recommend 👌🏽

Mikum Safari - The experience from beginning to end was amazing. We were kicked up at the time we were instructed, driven to the airport, and was greeted by guides at the terminal who walked us through the process and provided airline tickets. The Pelican 13 seat plane was a smooth take off and landing.
We met Frank, our Safari tour guide, who was knowledgeable, professional, and an awesome guide.
The lunch provided was completely unexpected but welcomed.
The entire safari experience was phenomenal. I would definitely recommend!

Amazing Experience! - We had such a great time! Our hosts were so nice and knowledgeable. We saw at least 12 different animal, including lions, which was unusual in the dry season. Afterwards, we had lunch and everyone was so nice! One of the ladies in our group had her birthday that day and they sang happy birthday to her and gave us champagne to celebrate. It truly was an awesome experience.

Great day, not to be missed if you are in the area!! - It was a beautiful day! Lots seen, lunch well provided and a nice tour guide. Only pity that there were French people in the jeep who thought that world revolves around them. The organization could not help it, only the jeepguide did almost everything in French and sometimes only in English. Also, the tour certainly did not last 8 hours and we went back with her plane at 2 pm, while the schedule was only that we were going to fly at 4 pm.

Average - The safari guides are so friendly, food is average, didn't see many animals up close the ride was boring to be honest , people suggested ngorongoro and Serengeti
