Amazing Experience - Excellent service, everything was very good in general, we had a couple of observations that we made directly to the company but nothing that affected the trip or activities and we were able to see the migration

The delicious and organic food. The car's fine. Everything is very well organized with excellent logistics, you know your business very well. Very good atmosphere, people from all over the world enjoying the same as us. With them I want to return to other adventures.

All the Big five, thanks to Suricata Safari - It’s difficult to find the words to describe the feelings, emotions, and our whole experience. Suricata Safari has choosen for us three unbelievable lodges to spent our six nights between Lake Manyara and Serengeti. Our driver Lewis was cautious, friendly, and always precise, explaining in details all the habits of the animals we encountered. He should be very popular among the other drivers, so to be informed about where and when to find the species we were looking for. We eventually meet all the “Big five”, even the leopard at Lake Manyara Reserve and rhino at Ngorongoro. An extraordinary journey, super suggested to all of you.

Tanzania Safari Visit - Everything was briefed and organized very nicely. Boma lodge was exceptional. The tour guide, Ezekiel, was very knowledgeable and kind. We saw many amazing experiences like a cheetah and lion hunt as well as the Wildebeest and Zebra migration!

Amazing once in a lifetime adventure - We had an amazing 6 day private safari trip with Suricata Safaris. Couldn’t have asked for a more experienced and fun guide. We had Ezekiel who is able to spot animals from a mile away and went out of his way to make sure we saw plenty of wild life. We saw 31 lions, 8 cheetas, 3 rhinos, 1 leopard and many more. Food was delicious and plentiful. My favourite accomodation was the Suricata Bome Lodge. It was new and beautifully designed. Highly recommend going with Suricata Safaris!

Incredible Safari experience with Suricata - We did so much research and contacted >10 safari companies and the Suricata quote was by far the best value We were comforted by all the positive reviews and their experience really shone through during our time with them - they are flexible and happy to add on elements to the trip at the guests request (we went to Olduvai Gorge museum and did a short hike to Olmoti crater) Overall, Suricata made the whole experience fantastic We would like to say a particular thanks to our absolutely wonderful wonderful guide Kevin, he was incredible. We were quite particular about what we hoped to get out of our 6 days (there were some particular birds we were excited about) and he made sure to tailor the experience so we could see as many as possible and also bought us a book to help us identify them. He was extremely attentive / thoughtful - he noticed I was bothered by the tsetse flys and brought a fan the next day so I could shoo them away; if we mentioned there were certain foods we wanted to try he spoke to the chef and they were on the menu the next day! I got the impression that our having a good time was his number one priority He was amazing and really helped to elevate our entire safari experience - thank you Kevin!

Incredible experience, great value, wonderful customer service. - We did a private 6-day lodge safari with Suricata for our honeymoon, our guide was Vincent. We stayed at the Lake Manyara Lodge, Sereonora Serengeti Wildlife Lodge, and Ngorongoro Sereonora Lodge. Our experience was absolutely INCREDIBLE! First, our guide Vincent: He was so knowledgable, friendly, and kind. We were with him, and he made us feel absolutely welcome, comfortable, and safe everywhere we want. He answered countless questions, and always impressed us with the breadth of his knowledge. He went to school for wildlife (I forget the specific program / degree) but it definitely showed - he knows so much! He was absolutely INCREDIBLE at finding animals, with a gift for spotting them that constantly impressed us. The safari itself: Thanks to Vincent (and good luck!), we not only saw the big 5, but we even saw a successful cheetah hunt, with two cheetahs hunting down a gazelle. You are able to get so close to the animals, and Vincent does a great job of giving you as much time as you want in all of the different areas. Every day, the food given to us on the safari was absolutely delicious. I was expecting to just get something simple like sandwiches, but instead we had a full course spread with hot dishes of delicious stews, curries, and pastas. The company: Suricata is a smaller safari company (around 10 vehicles) and that makes a HUGE difference in quality of service. They are so attentive and take great care with every single customer, compared to the large safari companies that operate hundreds of vehicles. Everyone at Suricata was a delight to work with. From the moment we landed at the airport, they immediately met up with us, and we had someone guiding us throughout TZ from that moment on. The lodges: we were absolutely blown away by the lodges. I knew they would be nice, but they are absolutely gorgeous. The Ngorongoro lodge in particular is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever been to, with the most beautiful views I've seen at any hotel. Suricata does an amazing job of booking the best places to stay. Overall, the value for our experience was immense. We can not thank Suricata, Vincent, Ali, and Hilary enough. I am SO so glad that we booked with Suricata. Thank you again, Vincent! Asante sana! - Brad & Rachel

Wow wow wow - Our choice: We did the lodge and tent option and my God did it deliver. Highly recommend doing the lodge if you are looking for something that allows you to be close to nature but a little bit of luxury. It is worth every euro/dollar we spent, all meals included and it was great value for money, if you are trying to decide between camping and lodging, my advice is this is the way to go. If however you are on a budget and are wondering about camping, we were at each of the campsites to collect other guests and the facilities were perfect. I would equally camp with them, if that’s your choice. Day 1 we stayed in Tulia Hotel which was fine (standard hotel) but with a decent restaurant. Day 2 and 3: The Suricata Boma Lodge is where you stay for two nights and it was GORGEOUS. The staff are exceptional, including Amos the manager. Day 4: Tent lodge - I actually loved this, the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the sound of the hippos who sounded as though they were coming to eat us. Overall added to the experience 😝 The accommodation was fabulous, as was the food (and the bar). Be warned you need cash if you do use the bar as they don’t accept card. Day 5: Tent lodge we stayed in was Rhino lodge and it was also incredible. Great atmosphere in the restaurant (and good wine!). Comfy room with a little fire and a hot water bottle if needed. Day 6: we opted to stay the extra night in Tulia before flying out. It was nice as it was familiar territory at that point. Tour guide: Our tour guide, Damian, impressed throughout. He was very knowledgable about the animals with a particular penchant for birds. I haven’t a clue but a fellow bird lover on the tour was clearly impressed. We saw the big five and even managed four on the first day. We also saw two of the big five at once which was very impressive. Damian also drives the terrain exceptionally well, which is no mean feat when there are parts flooded with no visibility on depth. We had some car issues which he handled very well and even had to drive without wipers at one point while raining, he navigated with ease and confidence. For anyone new to Africa and getting used to the driving style overall, it’s nice to feel safe with someone knowledgable behind the wheel. He also has great relationships with other guides and you can see this throughout his constant communication with them during the game drives. He gets information and acts very quickly and this allowed us, twice, to see things we would not have otherwise. Highly recommend Suricata, though I will say we were left at the airport waiting for our pick up as they forgot about us. It didn’t get to a great start but after that, it was seamless. Hidden Tip: Just be warned that you will be shipped into a shopping experience thing where they want you to buy but overall it is supporting local artists and designers and they did have some beautiful bits. Also the Masai village costs $15 and you need cash (in dollars or TZ Schillings). We did it and overall, though I have never felt more like a tourist, I would do it again. The chef: Salim, thank you once again for every incredible meal we had. I need a cookbook with your recipes! Overall: I would use Suricata hands down, there’s almost too many companies to choose from (2,600) and we worked off a recommendation and were glad we did.
