One in a lifetime experience! - Hiking Kilimanjaro will forever be one of the best experiences of my life. And to do this our group needed people who knew what they were doing since so many things can go wrong. And professional people is definelty what we got. The tour guides, Modest, Teacher and Fred always cheered us up through the whole thing, adverted us to the dangers and commons mistakes and kept us mentally strong til the end. They and their team, a group of 25 people, made sure this dream of ours happened. Working as team, the experience was incredible. The food was always amazing and diverse, the camps were quickly set down, transported and set up again, everyone was always super nice to us and excited for us to be doing this. Shoutout to Luca and Eresto for being the nicest waiters, and Deo the porter with the coolest winter hat and always with a smile on his face!

A once in a lifetime experience! - Climbing Kilimanjaro is truly a once in a lifetime experience, so you definitely want to take the best out of it so you get home with loads of stories to tell. We made the right decision to go with Suricata Safaris as with them, our experience exceeded our expectations. We weren’t very lucky with the weather but they brought something else - a group of 25 passionate people completely dedicated to elevating our experience as high as possible - and we all really did went as high as Africa goes! Freddy made us feel very safe and motivated, and while Teacher was the best in telling us stories about Tanzanian animals or about culture, Modest was a blast to be around of, teaching us songs or singing with us Portuguese songs. Although it was very cold, the tenderness of Lucas and Eraesto bring us meals and coffee in the morning made us feel warm at all times. The trekking days went way faster than we’ve imagined. And to arrive to each camp and see everything mounted and a hot tea waiting for us made us feel very privileged and spoiled. At the end of each long day, all we had to do was just to recover energies, calories and share stories between us. And that sure makes a hard task like climbing Kilimanjaro way easier!

Amazing trekking with a great team (Lemosho route) - We did the Lemosho route in 7 days between late November and early December. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of the service provided. We were somewhat unlucky with the weather, as we had almost 6 days of continuous rain, which made the trek much more challenging in terms of logistics, technical difficulty, and comfort. However, it also rewarded us with fabulous snowy views. From the third day onwards, we were trekking with a beautiful white blanket as our backdrop. The Suricatas team brought a support crew of 25 people for our group of 6. Freddy was the main guide, assisted by two additional guides. We also had two cooks, a tent management crew, and a team of porters, including two summit porters. The team demonstrated great experience and provided a strong sense of safety to the group, showcasing profound knowledge of the mountain. The food was always varied and of excellent quality. We had a portable toilet tent included, but the sleeping and dining tents could have been of better quality—this is perhaps the only area for improvement. The entire team was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the trip. All six of us reached the summit, and it was a truly beautiful experience. Overall, the trek is demanding but highly rewarding. Having spoken to others who have also climbed Kilimanjaro, I am deeply convinced that choosing Suricatas for this adventure was an excellent decision. Suricatas asked us to do a review about them, and here it is: sincerely, we loved it and we loved the team. Hope this is helpful for someone!

Kilimanjaro with SURICATA - great choice! - Thank you Freddy, Teacher and Modest for guiding us through this amazing experience! What a great team you are (with such a vast experience). The seven days were hard but the kind team (with 25 people in total!) made everything easier. A special thanks to Lucas and Heresta, always with a smile and encouraging words. Also, food was great, totally unexpected (thanks Gaston and Watson). That said, I highly recommend climbing Kilimanjaro with Suricata!

Amazing and Tough - Amazing and tough experience. I am very grateful to the whole team, who worked in very challenging conditions because there was rain almost every day. Our mountain guides were wonderful: Freddy is very experienced and wise, Modest is so fun to be around and Teacher told us a lot about tanzania. Also, special thanks to Lucas, who always had the right words to say and, together with Erasto, both took care of us from morning till bedtime. Food was great and all of our requests were heard! All of our group made it to the summit, which we owe to everyone involved, always so kind to us. The only thing that could be better is the quality of the tents, that should be waterproof and, unfortunately, weren't.
