The real GOATS - From the day we requested an online quote until the minute they said goodbye the GOATS were above excellent.
Everything they booked was perfect, we were pampered and looked after at every step. Our drivers Silas and Shafi knew where to go so we could find the best views of animals. We got to see EVERYTHING. It's hard to put into words how amazing Tanzania is, but cheetah-by-our-car levels of epic.
After a day of amazing game drives, the GOATS had us booked in a luxurious lodge, for us to refresh and recharge. We worried about nothing and were treated like old friends.
Safari GOATS is locally owned, and founded out of a passion for nature. These folks work hard for you to have the experience of a lifetime, they care about you and about protecting the precious Tanzanian ecosystem.
Come to Tanzania, the warmth of its people, the incredible wildlife, and the excellence of the GOATS will make it the experience of a lifetime. I can't wait to come back.

Safari legends! 🦏 - Wonderful experience! We started our tour in Arusha and went to the Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. In the first day we saw three of the big five! We saw the big five very close plus many other animals. It was a dream for us!
Silas Mdoe was our guide and he was incredible good. He has a lot of knowledge and experience and was really good at spotting animals! He was very kind and professional and gave us great explanation of all animals.
The accomodation was incredible, way better than we expected, plenty of options for food. Africa was our dream and I’m glad we did it with Safari Goats! 🦁🦓🐘

Once a lifetime - We’ve just came back from our trip with Safari Goats and we have a lot to say.
We chose 6 days of private Safari and 4 days in Zanzibar with my mom, my boyfriend and his mother.
First it was amazing. Every single days were perfect thanks to the organization of Amina, our Sales consultant who took care or all steps of our trip. She was able to planify all my wishes, communication was very fast and she accepted all our changes.
Then, we would like to thank all our Guides and Drivers. Issaya our French translator was over the moon, he took care of us and became a real friend (c’est carré), we’ve learned of lot about nature, swahili language and we had a lot of fun during our journey . Munguwangu chuwi! Silas our guide and driver was the fastest driver from all Tanzania. We saw a lot of rare animals thanks to his eyes of Tiger. He wanted to make our stay unforgettable and he made it properly.
We were lucky to have Set our driver to go and for the airport, the funniest and more adorable driver ever, he deserves to do more Safari tour, his english is perfect and his kindness is something we will never forget. Finally we would like to thank Joe, our first driver who stayed a day with us and had to drive a lot during that day, we were lucky to cross him again in the Ngorongoro Cráter.
Thank you again team.
Second, we would like to talk about the trip in itself. We did Tarangire, Lake Eyasi, Lake Manyara, Lake Natron, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Cráter, Zanzíbar. Highlights of our trip were Lake Natron tented Camp , Africa Amini Life and ballons over the Serengeti for the sunrise.
In terms of animals, our best memories are seeing 40 éléphants crossing in front our our car, seeing 2 lions with 11 baby lions, seeing 2 lions king with more than 15 ahyenas around, swimming with dolfins, and seeing 4 cheetahs playing around. We went to the Best hôtels ( Four Season Serengeti, Manyara Secrets, Ngorongoro Meliá Collection ) and had one of the Best Time of our life.
To end we would like to talk about 2 things which can be improved:
- Communication during our stay. We had some troubles with transfer they forgot us at the airport and for organizing a massage too and it was difficult to contact them. We had to contact Kelvin, the manager who resolved everything
- Most of our lunch box were not that good or quite empty for the price we paid its kind of disappointed
Even if those points, we’ve spent a very insane and beautiful trip that we will never forget, Thank you Safari Goats to be part of all our memories we have made in Tanzania.

Trip of a lifetime - I just returned from an epic safari with Safari Goats, and I can't thank Eddy, Amina, and our fabulous guides--Micky, Danny, and James--for an experience my family and I will never forget. We saw it all--lions, elephants, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffe, etc. and learned so much along the way. It all kicked off with Amina who worked tirelessly to build and refine an itinerary for my large group (13 people ranging from 9 to 70+ years old). Amina was responsive, thorough, and pleasant as we planned all the details. The guides were best-in-class: deeply knowledgeable, funny, flexible, and patient. Each one had a unique style and area of specialty / interest. I personally was blown away by their interactions with my daughter: they answered her many questions and made sure she was safe and engaged throughout the experience. Finally, it was clear to me that Eddy has built a special company. The guides spoke highly of their experience as Safari Goats guides, and Eddy managed to quickly handle any minor hiccups along the way. Eddy and team love what they do and it was a pleasure to experience the magic of Tanzania with them.

5-star Safari - Our experience with Safari Goat has been spectacular. From the moment we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport until we were dropped off at Arusha airport.
The first 3 days we were accompanied by Seth where we could experience staying two nights with a Maasai tribe at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro enjoying its culture and incredible scenery. Then we spent a night in Arusha whose activity before starting the entire 5 days of Safari blew our minds. Take a trek to see the Napuru Waterfalls and then spend time in the Arusha art gallery.
After resting in a beautiful hotel near Arusha airport where we could enjoy the company of monkeys and beautiful vegetation, we met Shafir and started the 5-day adventure touring Tangarire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro.
in Tangarire we could see how never an impressive amount of elephants as well as contemplate the incredible baobab. Amazing unique trees in the area.
Then it was Serengeti and Ngorogoro's turn. What to say? From seeing the Big Five to seeing a Chita with her calf in the wild.
Safari Goats made our first Safari experience amazing. From the places we were chosen to stay to the food restrictions we had reported.. everything was to the letter.
More than recommended to anyone who wants to take a Safari in Tanzania and surrounding areas.

A lifetime experience - We just finished a 5 day tour with Safari GOATS in Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Ndutu and Tarangire, and we are extremely delighted with the experience! Our guide, Shaffi, was very kind and knowledgeable about wildlife in the region. We managed to get close up viewings of all animals safely with top level explanation of the context. The travelling was comfortable and all lodges were amazing and offered delicious meals. We'll remember these days for the rest of our lives. Highly recommended.

100% recommended - Highly Recommend SAFARI GOATS!
I can wholeheartedly recommend SAFARI GOATS! We had Frank as our safari guide, and he made our experience unforgettable. From the moment we started, his professionalism stood out, and it was a joy to witness his own excitement when he spotted the animals. Frank is a safe and skilled driver, always making sure we got to see the wildlife up close and personal. He could spot animals from afar and would drive us to the perfect spots, ensuring we had unique and immersive encounters with nature. His timing and location knowledge were impeccable!
Not only did Frank have an incredible sense of where the animals were, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable. We could ask him anything, and he always had an answer. We learned so much during our safari, and it was refreshing to see someone so passionate about their work.
If you’re looking for an amazing safari experience, SAFARI GOATS is the way to go!

Book the trip with the Goats.. the Safari Goats. - If there is one thing to take from my review it is... book the trip with Safari Goats
This entire trip was an out of world experience. I have never felt sad leaving a trip, and coming home. It was all thanks to Safari Goats and team. From Eddy & Chricensia coordinating the whole trip for us and answering every question we had with quick communication. To Amari, Collin, Hamisi, and Uncle (inside joke) taking care of us every step of the way. They treated us like family, and accommodated us perfectly. If you are hesitating to work with Safari Goats, don't, book the trip. If you want to read on for details, you can.
We booked this trip and ended up with a private safari, which I didn’t realize until we arrived—but it made the experience so much better. From the extra space in the vehicle to personalized conversations, everything felt more tailored. If you're a photographer, the ability to move freely around the vehicle for that perfect shot is invaluable. Our car was always stocked with water and soft drinks, and a big bonus was the food. While we noticed other companies serving boxed lunches with just fruit, a sandwich, and a drink, we enjoyed freshly cooked meals every day.
The team also arranged the perfect guide for our hike up Ol Doinyo Lengai—a local Maasai who was nothing short of exceptional. Honestly, we wouldn’t have made it to the summit without him.
In just two days, we saw the Big Five and every other animal we could think of. When I showed the photos to locals at the lodges, they mentioned that some people take seven days to see what we saw in two. Maybe we were lucky, but our driver stayed in constant communication with others via walkie-talkie, tracking down the exact animals or rare sightings we were hoping for.
We also had an extra day in Arusha, which we had planned to handle on our own. However, the Safari Goats team welcomed us to hang out at their HQ, arranged for their "Uncle" to take care of us, and even provided a driver the next morning to take us back to JRO for our flight home.
One of the highlights of my conversation with the team was learning about how Safari Goats operates and their company culture. Having worked for several startups in the US that emphasize a strong culture, I was impressed by how well Safari Goats has perfected it. Every employee I spoke with praised the company's competitive wages, flexibility in work hours to accommodate personal and family needs, and overall satisfaction with how the business is run. After spending over an hour discussing these aspects, I felt even more confident in choosing Safari Goats over a larger touring company.
If you want to hear some of the lowlights, that actually ended up being highlights once we got home, because story telling is better on lowlights than highlights. We did have our car breakdown about 3 hours out from Arusha heading home. It was honestly a bit unsettling being in the middle of nowhere and also just at the mercy of the team, but they scheduled a driver to come get us within 15 minutes, and even upgraded one of our stays in Zanzibar for the troubles. We also got stuck one day in some thick sand, but another Safari Vehicle came across us and pulled us right out. There are so many people on safaris that if anything goes wrong, you're bound to run into another that can help you. The entire industry is really supportive of eachother and everyone is just so friendly it is mindboggling.
Well, that's it, I had the best time ever, a core memory I will cherish till I die. If I could go back and do it all again, I wouldn't hesitate, I am actually a bit bummed I can't typing this all out.

G.O.A.T.S - Amina is by far the best at personalizing private tours and including special touches for special celebrations. She is always available and willing to make any desired changes to ensure you have the best experience.
Colin is really knowledgeable and pleasant. We had the best time with him during the Materuni Waterfall hike with Barack and the Coffee Boys.
Frank is a gem! I still don’t know how he managed to drive for hours to a new location each day. He made sure we saw the Big Five and then some! Frank you are family now. (BDA)
Safari G.O.A.T.S is legitimately the Greatest Of All Times Safari. If you have not booked with them, you will miss out on an authentic Safari experience!
Thank you all!!
