ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

Tarangire National Park - Following breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch. Enjoy a picnic stop before continuing the game drive. Spanning nearly 2800 sq km, Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant populations and iconic baobab trees. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through it. During the dry season (June – November), wildlife congregates around the river, making it a spectacular sight, comparable to the Serengeti. The park’s diverse habitats and the permanent water source of the Tarangire River support over 2000 elephants and 500 bird species. In the late afternoon, depart the park and return to your hotel, hoping you had a wonderful Tanzania camping safari. The end.

LODGE TO NGORONGORO CRATER

Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, depart from the camp and drive to Ngorongoro, descending into the Crater with picnic lunch boxes for a game drive. Often referred to as the eighth natural wonder of the world, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater globally. Approximately 2 million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, causing its walls to collapse and the floor to sink, creating a natural enclosure with 600m high walls. Now, over 19 kilometers wide, the Crater is home to acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These habitats host over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, diverse birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and all predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest.

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, travel to the Serengeti, passing through Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the heart of wildlife in the Serengeti National Park with its endless plains. Proceed to the Seronera area, one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats, featuring the Seronera River as a vital water source. Enjoy lunch and a drive through the sunset to your accommodation. The great wildebeest migration occurs annually, with the best viewing opportunities from June to September in northern Serengeti. During the drive, witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River as they migrate year-round in search of pasture. After the drive, return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. Your guide will ensure you witness the Great Wildebeest Migration. This annual event is best observed from June to September in northern Serengeti, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross the Mara River, migrating year-round in search of pasture. LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

Lake Manyara National Park - This National Park trip is situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley on its western escarpment. It is famous for its tree-climbing lions and large, colorful flocks of flamingos attracted by the high algae content. After the game drive, you will be transferred back to Arusha town for your flight.
