Leaving the highlands, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its vast plains stretching as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the park’s richest wildlife habitats, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a crucial water source and attracts a diverse array of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Ngorongoro to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - After breakfast, descend into the crater with a lunch box for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the most densely populated African wildlife areas in the world, home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the crater hosts a wide variety of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another major attraction of this picturesque national park is its large population of predators, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard. We will enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor. In the late afternoon, drive back to Arusha town.
