You spend as much time as possible at the park, marveling at all its wonderful wildlife with the assistance and expert knowledge of your driver-guide. Tarangire National Park is primarily famous for the abundance of age-old baobabs and big families of elephants gathering in the vicinity of the main water source – the Tarangire River. Besides baby elephants and their parents the Tarangire is home to zebras, giraffes, hyenas, wart-hogs, buffaloes and many other predators and ungulates. Tarangire, often referred to as ‘The Elephant Playground,’ serves as an impressive spot for a remarkable day visit.
