• Musee de la Kasbah - Le Musée la Kasbah des cultures méditerranéennes représente un lieu patrimonial incontournable et une partie importante de la mémoire collective méditerranéenne. Il compte également parmi les plus anciennes institutions culturelles témoignant de la richesse et de la diversité du bassin méditerranéen.
  Il est niché au coeur de la Kasbah de Tanger, ville qui jouit de nombreux atouts géostratégiques. Cette situation lui confère le rôle essentiel d’interface entre l’Afrique et l’Europe, ainsi qu’entre les deux espaces maritimes que sont l’Océan Atlantique et la Méditerranée. Connu auparavant sous le nom du Palais de la Kasbah dit « Dar Al- Makhzen » ou « Palais du Sultan », le Musée occupe la partie Est de la Kasbah de Tanger.

After pick up, our route will take us along La Corniche (central beach) as we explore the eastern part of the city. We’ll then traverse through the Boulevard (formerly French section) where you can soak in the breath-taking view of the port and the Spanish coast on a clear day. We will proceed to the upscale Iberia and California residential area, brimming with luxurious chalets, villas, and palaces before making our way to Spartel Cape, a convergence point of the Atlantic and the Mediterranean. We will then drive along the coastline for a bit and explore the renowned Hercules caves. Afterwards, we’ll head towards the city outskirts to unveil the traditional aspect of Tanger, starting our walking tour at the Kasbah (a 15th century fort). We’ll embark on the Henri Matisse Trail (from his second visit in 1912-1913) and explore the locations that the acclaimed French painter immortalized in his stunning paintings including the main gate, mosque, marabout, among others.
