Beautiful fish and birds - Up close and beautiful fish, and wildlife. The aquarium takes about 1 hour and a half to go through and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the best aquariums in the US with a fantastic sea turtle conservation program - This is one of the best aquariums in the United States and an entertaining and educational experience for all ages. Allow a couple of hours to see everything and enjoy a lunch at the aquariums’s Cafe Ray. If you’re visiting between November and mid April, take the time to drive down to Apollo Beach and visit The Florida Aquarium’s conservation center where you can see seas turtles that have been rescued and are being rehabilitated for release. Admission to the conservation center, which is part of the manatee viewing area, is free.

A must see when in Tampa! - This was such a great and incredible experience. They had a lot of information and fish, birds, stingrays, lemurs, eel, sharks, flamingos, turtles, jellyfish and much more. My husband and I enjoyed this just as much as our 6 year old. Her favorite part was touching the moon jelly!

Make sure you see all of it! Good time. - We had a wonderful time. Some of the exhibits were closed for repair but that happens. With that going on it was not obvious how to go from the outdoor area with fish and birds to the aquariums and smaller fish exhibits and the large tank with the sharks. Make sure to ask. If you go up to the third floor you will likely miss the rest of the 2nd like we did until we asked. Make sure to see the brown pelicans and you will get to the larger exhibits you expect. It was crowded, with a timed entry I wouldn’t expect that as much but it was also St Patrick’s Day weekend and the city was packed.

Interesting experience... - Interesting experience wandering around the Florida aquarium. Ideal activity after disembarking a cruise. Luggage locker available as well. The dolphin trip out into the Bay was great too.

Very interesting - It was very busy with day camps for preschoolers. This made it very busy and congested. The displays were well done but certainly would not take 2-3 hours to see. We were there just under an hour with a teenager. I would go again but avoiding March break

Not very big - This was just okay. It wasn't a bad facility and the staff were very nice. But being the "Florida Aquarium" I just expected much more. I thought it would be more like the Camden Aquarium or even the National in Baltimore, but it was very small. We walked thru and took our time looking at everything and we were done in about 45 minutes.

It's not worth it. - Weak is very expensive. In Brazil we have much better aquariums. In 30 minutes you can see everything. Pay parking for $29. It's not worth it.

SO CROWDED - Timed entry does not mean much. The museum was so ridiculously crowded. Our young granddaughter could not even see what was in the tanks. We paid a lot of money and left after an hour. SO many field trips. We were so happy to get out of there. Never again.
