Tampa aquarium tips - There’s so many wonderful things to see at the aquarium. It is not very cold. I only put my sweater on for a couple of minutes. It is easy just to follow along. You don’t have to use the map.

Best way to buy tickets - Definitely less expensive than buying elsewhere online! Took a little while to get started, but went smoothly

Enjoyable But Pricey - The exhibits are very nice and well maintained and definitely reflect the hard work and dedication of the aquarium staff and resident marine experts. As a former fisheries biologist and lifelong aquarist, I certainly was is awe of the reef tank and the various aquaria and other displays. However, for the size of the facility, the price with parking is very high. There was no discount for senior citizens or Florida residents and with parking, a single visit was just over fifty dollars for a facility that takes about an hour or so to view. That is without paying for the various premium experiences available for additional ticket prices. I enjoyed my visit for sure, but it is too costly to make visiting the Florida Aquarium an annual or more frequent event if you do not live locally and cannot take advantage of a membership.

Exploring Tampa’s Florida Aquarium - Such a nice aquarium — clean, well-kept, and the staff were friendly. The layout flows well, and the touch tanks and coral reef exhibits are highlights.

Family visit - Lots of fish but would have expected more bigger fish and sharks. Only one big sea turtle. It is a nice place though and good for kids. Walkable to other Tampa attractions too

The Florida Aquarium is... - The Florida Aquarium is smaller, but the presentation is well done, especially the Coral Reef. 2 hours and the tickets on Viator were better priced than at the location.

Underwhelming for the price I paid - It was very crowded and I felt I couldn't fully enjoy my experience with the amount of people there. It also felt underwhelming for the price I paid , I figured there'd be more to explore. The aquariums were pretty but I felt the amount I paid wasn't worth it.
