• Burg Wackenau - Discover the ruins of Wackenau Castle, situated in the municipality of Bonaduz in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. These sparse remnants of the former Spornburg are perched at 630 meters above sea level, approximately three kilometers northwest of the community, in a typical spur position above a loop of the Vorderrhein. Capture this picturesque scene from the train.

• Ilanz - Meet at Ilanz train station and embark on a delightful walk through the charming “first city on the Rhine.”

• Museum Regiunal Surselva - The Regiunal Surselva Museum offers a glimpse into the pre-industrial era, shaped by crafts, agriculture, and housekeeping. The permanent exhibition in the historic Casa Carniec spans seven floors, showcasing how people in earlier times sustained themselves and organized their lives within families and village communities.

• Laax - After exploring Ilanz, travel towards Flims, passing through picturesque villages like Schluein and Laax. In Laax, view the valley station of the renowned Crap Sogn Gion ski area and the newly developed rock resort made of Vals granite, before continuing to Lake Cauma.

• Caumasee - Visit Lake Cauma in Flims. Lake Cauma (Romansh Lag la Cauma, sometimes Lai da Cauma) is nestled in the uninhabited southern part of the municipality of Flims in the Swiss canton of Graubünden. It is situated at an altitude of around 997 meters, with a seasonally fluctuating water level, and is accessible via a specially constructed funicular. The lake’s water is a striking turquoise green. Notably, the westernmost bay of the lake remains unfrozen in winter, despite its elevation and location in a cold air basin; this is likely due to powerful underground springs flowing through the lake, originating in this part. The drainage is also subterranean. The water level experiences significant fluctuations; in 2015, the lake rose by at least 4 meters and 30 centimeters. The lake reaches its highest level in mid to late July, coinciding with the end of the snowmelt in the surrounding mountains.

• Bonaduz - Return to the starting point of the journey. Bid farewell at Bonaduz train station, where the journey began, or, as per arrangement, be taken back to the hotel.
