Amazing Kazakh Trip - The tour was amazing, one of the best day-trips I ever did! The lakes and canyon we visited were extraordinary and the landscape truly breathtaking. The lunch served during the tour was a proper traditional Kazakh meal, and it was delicious. Big shout out to our tour guide, Amina, who was amazing and super helpful. She was always giving good explanation of the places we visited and passed by, and truly loved the history of Kazakhstan.

Thanks to Saida and John - The trip was excellent and the guides are very accommodating. Thanks to Saida and John! A little bit off with the driver as he drove fast and didnt turn off the aircon even if multiple reminders.

Long day but see the best sights quickly - Overall a great day. It’s very long - 16 hours, including maybe near 12 of actual driving, so if you hate being on the road for long periods bear this in mind. However, if you accept this then you’ll enjoy the day, you’ll see some amazing things. Our tour guide was Amina, who was brilliant. Super friendly, professional and polite. Did a great job explaining the relevant history etc. of each place. She’s apparently new to the job, but is already a great tour guide - the managers should give her a pay rise!

Day trip from Almaty - Booked this tour to see most of Almaty surroundings in a single day, well aware of the tight schedule and the early morning hours. Saida was the tour guide on the day and she has been absolutely amazing! She texted the day before to arrange the picking up and provide detailed information about what to pack for the day. The tour started perfectly on time and everything went smooth. All the stops were exactly as reported on the booking. Moreover, Saida took care of everyone making sure nobody was left behind. She is super friendly and speaks good English that may help in interacting with locals. Definitely worth it!

Excellent experience with Amina, car could be better - Everything went really well. Our guide Amina did an excellent job – she was very kind and explained everything in a clear and engaging way. The only downside was the car: it was too small, with very little legroom, which made the long trip uncomfortable. That’s why I give 4 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing Sights - My mom and I went on this tour very excited based on the reviews we had seen. Overall the tour was not bad, I just think our group did not have the best experience that everyone else seems to have had. To start, our tour guide overslept so we did not have a tour guide until we arrived at Charyn Canyon. I think we all would have liked to learn more about the history of this region of Kazakhstan and the country in general. We had ample time at the canyon and the guide that met us there (he was with another group) was very helpful and informative. Prior to switching vans, we were able to pick up another guide who was with an overnight tour. While it was great to have a guide with us, I felt that she could have explained some things better. For example, as soon as we parked in Kaindy lake it felt like a mad dash to get us dispersed and up to the lake, which unfortunately meant that the “walk” to the lake was explained as a walk and not a steep incline hike. I know my mom was upset by this lack of communication and another member of our group had expressed feeling the same way. I think this felt rushed. Also, if you take the van to the top, there is still a walk down and then back up (steep/stairs) to the lake. It seemed like the horse ride to the lake took you straight to the lake. Once we were up at the lake, the other guide (the guy from the other group—not our own guide) explained more about the geographical history of the lake and why the trees were in the water. The lunch was a great experience. However, it would have been nice to have the food we were eating explained. Obviously we all knew what main dishes we were eating but there were several different sauces on the table and sweets, etc. that would have been nice to know what they were rather than just trying them and guessing. The third stop, second lake, was really nice but by then we were all so exhausted that an hour here felt very long. None of us took the boat ride. I think we all maybe thought it would have been better to see if anyone was planning on taking a boat ride and then give us the time limit at this stop based on what everyone was planning on doing. Definitely disappointed in how our specific tour turned out, that our guide had overslept because it seems like the other groups had a really great experience. I would also like to say that the manager was extremely apologetic, and mentioned to us that they would be getting in touch about making up for the unfortunate circumstance of our tour.
