• Natural Bridge - While visiting Springbrook National Park, travel through the Numinbah Valley with its valleys, escarpments, and forests to reach the Natural Bridge Section. Enjoy an hour-long walk through the magnificent rainforest to Cave Creek, where you’ll witness the waterfall cascading into the cave below.
• Hinze Dam - Hinze Dam serves as a vital water source and a wildlife sanctuary. Around the lake and in the surrounding bushland, kangaroos and wallabies can often be seen grazing. Koalas are also present, typically high in the eucalyptus trees, either resting or moving slowly from branch to branch. The forests are home to possums, bandicoots, and occasionally echidnas.

The area is rich in birdlife, with eagles soaring above, black swans and cormorants gliding across the lake, and colorful lorikeets and king parrots in the treetops. The dam attracts various waterbirds, including pelicans, herons, and ducks.

Reptiles are part of the ecosystem too, with lizards basking on rocks and turtles resting along the lake’s edges. At night, the area comes alive with frogs and the sounds of nocturnal animals echoing through the forest.
