Great day on the water - It was a fun day on the catamaran. We saw whales playing, stopped for a swim and had a good lunch. They served cocktails and other beverages the whole time. I definitely recommend this activity.

Very nice catamaran experience! - Very nice experience! The boat is spacious, well designed for it to be pleasant: lots of seats and a nice shaded area (welcome to the start of the cruise because the sun is still high and taps hard enough). The cata is clean, well maintained and not at all overloaded. The crew is friendly and attentive and the organization at the top: small fruit salad and open bar with good cocktails from the start, nice music, cool sailing, stop of at least 1h30 on a beautiful spot near a beach of light sand so that everyone can swim (everyone can have his "fryer buoy" to float without stress), snorkel, paddle or canoe (1 copy of each), then lunch-buffet on the boat with local food, simple but very well cooked and return to the beach of Tamarindo with always cool sailing enjoying the maximum of sunset. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen! In short, a nice outing (from 12:45 to 18:00), quite recommended and suitable for the whole family, even for children or older people. People sympathized and exchanged as they went along, with an atmosphere that became very friendly and even downright festive towards the end. The icing on the cake, once the cruise ended we could enjoy a nightcap at the "Chiringuito", very nice beach bar and restaurant, right in front of the embarkation-disembarkation area. A beautiful day in Paradise!

Sunset catamaran - The catamaran ride was great, although they didn’t use the sails. Good and drinks were delicious. Don’t expect to see too many fish if you snorkel.

No good for snorkeling - The crew were great. So was the food. We took this excursion primarily for snorkeling. That's where things fell apart. When we got to the beach area, the crew told us there were fins under a bench. The free for all began. Trying to find a pair of fins that matched, let alone that fit took considerable time. Next was the mask and snorkel. I pulled a couple masks from the bin. They were both extremely grimey. As the snorkels were all attached to masks, I assume nothing had been washed. We decided to pass on the snorkeling for safety reasons. We were left disappointed. We did spot whales on the return trip and the captain slowed the boat and maneuvered closer so we got a good view. If not for the poor condition of the snorkeling gear it would have been a great trip.
