Best Tour Ever! - My family and I had Ariel as our guide. He was incredibly kind from the get-go and made the effort to learn our groups names. Hiking through the Cahuita national park was incredible. Ariel really has an eye for seeing all of the native life around. He even gave guidance to other tour guides along side us in finding animals. Ariel’s knowledge of his hike country and excitement to share it made this whole trip much more memorable. Our group learned about plants that had history with the locals in Cahuita. After the national park we were chauffeured to the BriBri reservation where we were taught about herbs and vegetation while tasting everything through the tour. After we had a delicious meal made by the BriBri people, Ariel then guided us through the reservation teaching us history of his home tribe with visuals of tools used throughout their evolution as a culture. Learning how the BriBri people processed chocolate was incredible. A very labor intensive but beautiful tradition kept alive by beautiful people. You just have to go to understand! All of the hiking and learning and snacking was followed with a short hike to a refreshing dip into a beautiful waterfall. It was a treat after a whole days work of observing and learning. Before heading back home our group enjoyed the beloved coco loco cocktail made with coconuts right from the tree. Every part of this tour is incredible. It does include a lot of walking and some mild hiking but it is all worth it. Ariel really made this journey one to remember with his love for his country and sharing it with travelers along the way. The tour was about 7.5 hours but every moment worth it. Thank you Ariel for the amazing adventure and your passion for life!

Best Tour Ever! - Best experience ever! We saw so many animals! Sloths, crocodiles, herons, monkeys, snakes, you name it, we saw it! Made chocolate with the BriBri and learned about native plants after enjoying a toucan lunch! Waterfall hike and swim was so refreshing after the long eventful day! Ariel was our guide and I would give him 5 Stars all the way around! Best tour and best tour guide ever!

Would recommend! - Everything I wanted to do around Puerto Viejo in 1 day without feeling rushed. Including my favorite coco loco! Saw and learned a lot because of Ariel. If you have any questions beforehand you can contact him: ‪+50684549385‬.

Great guided tour with Ariel. - Our guide Ariel was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Without the presence of the guide we certainly would not have been able to admire so much wildlife in Cahuita Park. Visiting Bribri to learn how to make chocolate was not only fun but also instructive. We also learned about the Bribri people. The local lunch was very good too. And to finish the swim in the waterfall was refreshing. Very nice day with Ariel. We recommend this guided tour and especially with Ariel.

Warm greetings to Ariel! ;) - Best trip ever! I got so lucky – I was the only one who booked that day, so the operator didn't cancel, and I got a private tour for the group price! ;) My guide, Ariel, was super chatty and funny, gave me tons of time for photos, and knew so much about Costa Rican culture and wildlife. I loved chatting with him, his tips, and even the photos he took! :D The tour was even better than described; my favorite part was the Bribri village and getting up close with the sloths and raccoons.

Great for culture, wildlife and waterfalls all rolled into one - Ariel was great. We had a great time one of our better tours we’ve taken. Highly recommended. Be sure to bring a swimsuit to swim in the waterfall. That was a great experience after the tour.
