Takayama to Kanazawa via Shirakawago, Suganuma and Ainokura - We (family of 4) had a wonderful, well organized tour with Kumiko, with plenty of detailed information about the villages we visited and about the life of the people in this region. Kumiko aldo kindly gave us answers to many questions about Japan in general. I strongly recommend to add two extra hours and visit Suganuma and Ainokura, they are much smaller, but much nicer

Fantastic! - Take this tour! Wow, what an incredible day spent with Yuta! He is so fantastic and we loved everything about the experience. He is so personable, knowledgeable, and charming. Shirakawago is absolutely breathtaking and Yuta offered so much valuable insight. I cannot recommend this tour highly enough!

Very good, charming and helpful guide - Our guide Kumiko was wonderful, very helpful, charming, and funny (we loved the little hand puppet panda and the little jumping paper frogs she folded for us sur place). She was also flexible in meeting our wishes and organising an impromptu lunch in a nice small restaurant on the road from Shirakawa-go to Kanazawa, and accompanied us right to the hotel reception to drop us off there. We can only recommend her!

Helpful, interesting, perfect - My daughter and I used Kanazawa tours to transfer us from Takayama to Kanazawa. The guide during the drive and visit to Shirakawago was knowledgeable and informative. Once in Kanazawa we met up with Nozomi another guide. We were interested in specific artisan visits. Nozomi spoke English perfectly. We enjoyed being with her for the rest of the day which included a quick garden visit, lunch and drop off at the train station at the end of the day. The artisans we were introduced to were all talented and happy to meet with us. Nozomi has been amazing - it is now six months since our visit and she is still helping to organize the completion and shipping of certain items we had embroidered there in Kanazawa. Shirakawago UNESCO site tour. Transfer from Takayama to Kanazawa - My wife and I had a terrific tour of the UNESCO village site Shirakawago on our transfer from Takayama to Kanazawa. Our guide and driver was Tetsuro Aida who was delightful, knowledgeable and speaks very good English having worked in the film and theater business with many Americans and English people. We learned a lot about historical and modern day life in Japan. Tetsuro answered all our questions but the commentary was not overwhelming. Tetsuro provided us with a beautiful photo album of our trip which he created discreetly during the tour. It is a wonderful souvenir of the day. The taxi/limo was a very comfortable UDT (7 seater, AC). The weather was just perfect that day which added to the experience. Thank you Tetsuro.

A brilliant transfer. - We had a brilliant transfer from Takayama to Kanazawa. Our driver Yuka was charming and the car was luxurious. Yuka also after as our private on our visit to Shirakawago which is a ‘must visit’ destination that will long live in my memory.

Memorable experience - We booked Kanazawa Tours for a private transfer from Takayama to Kanazawa with a stop in Shirakawa-Go, and it was an excellent experience. Our driver and guide, Yuuka, was an absolute delight! She shared interesting details about the areas we passed through and gave us a wonderful guided tour of Shirakawa-Go. Her insights made our visit so much richer and more memorable. On top of that, her car was spotless and super comfortable, making for a really pleasant journey.
