Available March 18th-April 8th 2025, the true Hanami spirit during Cherry Blossom season in Tokyo is hidden in the back streets, old neighborhoods, and around temples and shrines (both big and small). Join us on this walking tour of part of the Yanaka area. Taste local treats and beverages, explore the artistic history of the district, and finish up with your own hanami stroll and foodie experience- under gorgeous blossom-lined streets.

Sakura season is short, about one month from the first tiny buds to the finish of the season with the peak being about two weeks. It is impossible to predict exact dates each year but we will be offering this limited edition tour in the time period most famous for Hanami time.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Passport information copy is required for kids 10 and above.

Wonderful, informative and delicious tours! - On a recent trip to Japan we attended 4 different tours with arigato and each one was fantastic. We had 3 different guides and each of them were welcoming and entertaining and really well informed. We learnt so much and ate so much too! Would definitely recommend.

Hanami in Yanaka! - Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and lots of fun. She also did a fantastic job adjusting to our interests and food allergies. She obviously loves Tokyo and made sure to convey her enthusiasm and also that our time in Tokyo outside the tour was well spent by recommending several activities to do. We saw several areas of sakura (we were so fortunate to have hit the peak sakura time!) and also visited numerous shops along the way, eating our way down the street, trying all kinds of native food, each at her favorite little shop. A fantastic way to spend a few hours and one of the best guides ever.

Beautiful views, and a chance to ask a local all the questions you have - Awesome experience to get to know a not so touristic area of Tokyo (which is something great), eat local food and get to know aspects of the everyday lives of Tokyo. Also you get a lot of tips to improve your experience throughout your travel.
