Fantastic experience! - We had a fantastic experience with Tiger who patiently walked us through the local supermarket giving us useful tips on how to pick the right vegetables and fish. This was followed by an informative and hand on cooking session which culminated in a meal where we also got the opportunity to taste 4 different types of sake. Icing on the cake was getting the shopping tips and recipes for everything we learnt and enjoyed! Highly recommend!

Excellent foodie adventure. - Tiger is an eloquent and highly intelligent man who engaged with each member of our family that ensured the day was not just about cooking and sake but also about increasing our understanding of Japanese culture and comprehending how the Japanese see the rest of the world.

Great time cooking in Japan! - An outstanding experience. We had an amazing time with Huji. We started at a local grocery store where we picked out appropriate More importantly, she was a great host. Teaching us technique and the reasons why we were doing certain things. After cooking - we shared a delicious meal of grilled eggplant, miso soup, sushi rolls and some extra nigiri. While at the grocery store, I bought a little wasabi and we grated it up for accompaniment. I could not recommend this activity enough.

Cooking with Fuji - We had an amazing time with our guide Fuji. The supermarket was lots for fun and Fuji pointed out all the things we needed to know and why. We all found this very valuable as we wanted to cook Japanese cuisine at home. Fuji has a great personality that feels you with all the confidence you need to cook. The magical trip was one our last full day in Tokyo and it was the perfect way to finish our trip. Thank you Fuji for a wonderful morning .

Japanese home cooking and sushi making experience - ‘Tiger’ was a great host and teacher, we started in the local market, to pickup and learn about the ingredients for dishes we would later make. We prepared several dishes and ended up making sushi roles. It was a great way to learn about Japanese home cooking and local culture.

Our guide tiger is great! - Great tour! We went shopping with our guide tiger he showed us what quality ingredients look. Making the food was fun and delicious. The sake really hit the spot and getting a description of how what to look for in the polish rate and how it affects the flavour was good to know. Would recommend

Very good English. Tasty food. Fun time - Tiger was such a good cooking teacher. He was friendly, personable, and patient when teaching us how to cook. He was thorough in explaining the culture behind the food, how to select good produce, and why things needed to be cooked a certain way. He was easy to talk to, and happy to take photo’s of us trying to cook haha. Also his English was very good, and the food was so tasty. My whole family had a lot of fun! Would recommend
