Built as a peace memorial in 1963, it is nearly 400 steps up from the shrine’s main buildings. The best time to visit is early morning, regardless of the season. Scenic viewpoints around the city offer majestic views of Mt. Fuji.

Lake Kawaguchiko - Lake Kawaguchiko (河口湖) is the most accessible of the Fuji Five Lakes, with train and direct bus connections to Tokyo. A hot spring resort town with various attractions and views of Mount Fuji is located at the lake’s eastern end, while the northern and western shores remain mostly undeveloped.
The best views of Mount Fuji are from the lake’s northern shores, especially during cherry blossom season in mid-April and autumn colors in early November. The seaside promenade near the Kawaguchiko Music Forest is ideal for cherry blossoms, while the “Momiji Tunnel” offers stunning autumn colors.

Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway - (OPTIONAL) The Mount Fuji Panoramic Ropeway (富士山パノラマロープウェイ) ascends 400 meters from Lake Kawaguchiko’s eastern shore to an observation deck near Mount Tenjo’s peak. From over 1000 meters above sea level, visitors enjoy panoramic views of the lake and Mount Fuji. Ropeway charges are not included in the package.

Oshino Hakkai - Oshino Hakkai (忍野八海) consists of eight ponds in Oshino, a village in the Fuji Five Lake region. These ponds are fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, filtering through lava layers for over 80 years, resulting in clear spring water revered by locals.
Visitors can drink the cool water directly from one pond. The ponds, with interesting plant life and large fish, have become tourist attractions. Despite crowds, they maintain a pleasant atmosphere if you don’t expect untouched nature.

Please be informed that entry to Mount Fuji’s 5th station is contingent upon weather conditions exclusively. During the hiking season, we cannot go to the 5th station. You have to take a shuttle bus or taxi, which costs 2500 yen per person.
