Start your trip with Asakusa tour! - Norika gave us an informative and memorable tour of Asakusa. She answered our questions in detail and gave us a good base of information about the area, Tokyo and Japan to start our long family trip. We loved the stops, matcha, and relaxed unique lunch stop. Her recommendation to visit Kappabashi Street nearby after our tour ended was a spot we loved and wouldn’t have thought to go to. I highly recommend Norika and this walking tour of Asakusa!

Asakusa walking and interactive tour—learn culture from a local - Aoi is pleasant, personable, patient and really helpful. She helped our family of five (kids ages 17, 15, 10) navigate the crowded shopping area and assisted our teen son in purchasing swords. The temple was enchanting and we learned how to obtain a fortune. The matcha experience was a delight and okonomoyaki restaurant was fun! She took photos of our family throughout our tour and our teens enjoyed her company, conversation and learning about her student life in Japan. It was a hot day, but with Aoi’s guide and calm demeanor, we learned and experienced the Asakusa area with few complaints from our youngest. I highly recommend the experience if you are looking for an interactive tour with variety besides walking.

Incredibly Well-Rounded Tour Experience! - We had a wonderful tour from Hitomi! Between several unique for food and drink, and the cultural aspect of the temple, this was such an incredible tour! Hitomi was such a friendly presence and very knowledgeable about all of our stops! We even had several hiccups with our booking through Viatour getting cancelled last minute, but the Magical Trip customer support was able to help us rebook our tour back! We thought that it may be all just things you could look up online, but all of the food/drink experiences were private to just our group! Overall, it was such an awesome tour. I could not recommend a tour more for the Asakusa area!

Amazing experience with Hina on Asakusa Cultural Tour + Matcha making experience - My family and I recently participated in the Asakusa Temple and Cultural Tour with the Matcha making experience with Hina as our guide. She is our favorite guide in Tokyo now and this tour was the most informative! Her deep knowledge of the traditions and history surrounding Shinto and Buddhist religion was truly impressive, and she shared fascinating insights about the history and cultural significance of temples in Japan. Hina's warm and welcoming personality made everyone feel at ease, and her excellent communication skills ensured that all our questions were answered thoroughly. She was willing to answer any questions we had or anything we were curious about and gave us time to stop and check out shops along the way. She guided us step-by-step through the intricate process of making Matcha, translating for the person giving us the tour and class. Hina was a pleasure to interacti with, talk to, and be guided by. I highly recommend the Matcha making tea experience in Tokyo, especially if you have Hina as your guide. She went above and beyond to make the experience special for everyone involved.

Expect the Unexpected - This was a fantastic tour that was tailored to suit! The matcha making was the highlight and an experience that I won't soon forget. Making okonomiyaki was terrific as well and I see an okonomiyaki party in my near future. The temples and shopping streets were interesting as well. The tour guide filled me in on some uncommon facts that make the experience memorable.
