Fall in love with the varied and unique beauty of Morocco’s valleys, mountains, countryside, and desert on this full-day guided excursion from Marrakech. After pickup at around 9:00 AM, head to the Atlas Mountains, passing through a small village where you can visit a traditional Berber Weekley souk (market in Saturday or Tuesday)
- Moulay Brahim - then to Moulay Brahim valley where you will try the experience of camel Ride
- Imlil - Arrive in Imlil and take a trek by foot or by Mule to Armed, the highest and largest village in Imlil Valley. Your journey will take you past waterfalls and the hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula. Stop off in Tamatert to take in views of ancient irrigated fields of barley, corn, and vegetables, surrounded by cherry and walnut trees. Your guide will point out interesting sites and tell you about Berber culture and heritage along the way.
- Tamatert - Come back down through the village of Ait Souka, where you’ll meet a Berber family and enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal as a guest in their home. Head next to Kik Plateau, at 1,800 meters altitude, offering spectacular 360-degree views, and in spring, a marvelous spread of alpine flowers.
- Plateau du Kik - Arrive at the edge of Lalla Takerkoust Lake, whose dam supplies Marrakesh with all its energy. Take a tea break and admire the views out over the lake
- Agafay - Finally, drive to Agafay Desert and enjoy the tranquility of the countryside. Pass through stone desert, barren light brown plateaus, Bedouin villages, oases, and high hills with panoramic views to High Atlas. If the timing is right, enjoy views of the sunset from up high before returning to Marrakech.

A MUST do in Marrakech! - This trip was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Marrakech! Ismail was a wonderful guide- extremely communicative, knowledgeable and helpful every step of the way. The hike to the waterfall was breathtaking and the lunch at his family's home was so tasty! 100% recommend!

Berber village,food and camel ride excellent value for moneyney - An excellent day trip. To a Berber village and waterfall. The guide kept me informed of delays in pickup Marrakech traffic! The walk was good and the meal included in the price was one of the best I experienced on the holiday. The camel ride was very good over 30 minutes inength. Value for money you can't beat it. Highly recommended

Best trip to do in Marrakesh! (Ishmail is a legend!!) - Ishmail was amazing taking the trip to the next level with his knowledge and story telling. He was very attentive and enthusiastic. The food was some of the best we had eaten and plentiful. The hike through the woods up to the waterfall was stunning.
Although there was a lot of travelling, Ishmail ensured we stopped frequently for photo opportunities and to share facts about the area.
This is the best value trip we have taken. Worth every penny and more - I only wish I could rate it higher. Please book this trip and enjoy escaping the hustle of the city.

Wonderful experience - Very interesting part of Morocco. Ismail was very knowledgeable and friendly. Everyone on tour made the hike so not too difficult. Lunch was one of the best meals we have had so far. Great to support a family run small business.

Marvellous Immersive Experience - We and our friends really enjoyed this trip with Ismail. Having been raised in a village in the mountains he had such a wealth of knowledge of the history and customs of the area which he conveyed passionately. He is a very bright, engaging individual who ensured we got the most out of the tour. The camel ride was a hoot. Lunch in his family home was very tasty and a great experience. Highly recommended.

Great host, great price, great experience - Ibrahim was a wonderful host. Very friendly, chatty, accommodating, and excellent at both English and French.
The day began with pickup from near our Airbnb, followed by tea and a 30-minute camel ride. We then went up into the Atlas mountains for a breakfast of bread and oils. The hike followed. This was a very leisurely stroll up to a waterfall - don't be put off, as it was not strenuous. The lunch of chicken tagine and cous cous was lovely. The bus was well-driven and comfortable.
Overall, a great experience and I would highly recommend it, especially for the price.

Visit the heart of a Berber village. - Superb day with the visit of an authentic tuesday souc on the atlas road, where we arrived after making the desert of agafay and its 🐪 ride. In the atlas a Berber village in the heart of their way of life and their walk to the waterfall. An excellent tagine homemade by the family of Ismael.
Thank you to Ismael and icham for their kindness, always close to you for answers and explanations on all these discoveries.

Authentic discovery! - We spent an excellent day exploring the Berber landscapes and customs with Ismael and Hicham. Very good driver and very good guide. Very complete and authentic tour: walk to the waterfall, view of several points in the desert, discovery of local crafts, camel ride, and above all, an excellent tagine with panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Ismael even gave me the pleasure of a birthday song for my 30th birthday! Super souvenir 🙂
