- Tapera da Bedita - We are situated near the boundary of Cunha/Paraty, approximately a 45-minute drive from the entrance of Paraty.\nYou’ll ascend through the Serra da Bocaina park, enjoying picturesque scenery and reaching elevations of around 1,300 meters, offering stunning vistas.\nOur Experience includes:\n introductory equestrian lessons (for novices)\n a horseback trek on private land (lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes)\n an immersion in horse care and management\n An exclusive picnic at the Belvedere\n Insights into the local culture, history, and natural environment.\n Dedicated Taxi service for pick-up and drop-off (from the city center)\nThe total time for the experience is about 5 hours, which includes the 45-minute journey through Bacaina Park (to and back).\nCollection times are at 9 am for the morning session and 12:30 pm for the afternoon.\nThis outing is private for your group or duo, and times are not communal.\nA minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 participants are required.\nKey points to note:\n- Attire: long trousers and closed-toe footwear.\n- It’s advised to bring insect repellent, sunblock, and a camera for photographs.\n- Remember that animals are sentient beings that require care and attention.\n- In the event of intense rainfall, we may have to cancel the reservation.\n- Helmets are provided and must be worn during the ride.

Wonderful experience - What a wonderful experience! Learning from beginning to end about horses, about cohabitation, about exchanges, about nature. Raul is very caring and spends a lot of safety and mastery on the handling of the horses and on the horse ride area! Super worth for those who have no experience like me. It was a very delicious walk! Looking forward to the next opportunity to be in this sanctuary which is the Horse Site!

Mountains were viewed from horseback. Our trail ride included some gallops. - Our guide told us stories as we rode our horses along the trail. We got a chance to gallop a couple of times. A very nice picnic was waiting for us as we got to the peak of a hill. From that Hill we were able to look out at the mountains that extended through the states of Sao Paulo, Minhas Gerais & Rio de Janeiro.

A charming haven in the site of the horses - Wonderful experience from beginning to end! Raul is an out-of-the-line host — welcoming, caring and conveying a huge love for the place and the animals.
The horses are docile, calm and very well cared for, perfect even for those who have never had contact with them. The picnic is delicious and the surrounding landscape is simply stunning, with lively nature and a contagious peace.
A tour that renews the soul and makes us want to come back soon. I highly recommend! 🙂

Memorable horse riding in beautiful surroundings - Fantastic horse ride around Raul's property in the hills 45 minutes from Paraty. Raul is very friendly and clearly passionate about his land and his horses, both of which are really well cared for. The views as you ride are incredible, and Raul takes care to make sure you are comfortable with your horse, giving advice as well as explaining the plants, trees and wildlife that you see as you go. The picnic was a really nice touch, in a beautiful spot, and a great way to bring the ride to an end.
Highly recommended, a highlight of our Brazil trip.

What an experience! - Raul and his horses are the best! He's such a patient teacher, his 'garden' is absolutely beautiful and the two horses we rode Laredo and Universe are super calm and well trained. It made for a wonderful experience.
The picnic towards the end of the ride is really well put together and the setting where you eat it, taking in the view is special.
I really cannot recommend Raul highly enough! ❤️

Peaceful walk in the heights of paraty - Beautiful peaceful day in the mountains. Horses very well cared for. Very friendly and attentive guide. A very nice experience in addition to the visit of Paraty!

The best and most horse friendly ridinglesson of my travels! - This was maybe the best horsebackriding lesson that I have got on my travels. When I travel, I always want to search for a local stable with a nice vibe, and have one ridinglesson there. This was the best of all the ones I've made.
The horses seemed to enjoy their surrounding a lot, and Raul was clearly taking good care of them. The area where we rode was beautiful and wild, and it belonged to the stables areas. The picnic was also nice, but the most special thing was to learn how to ride without a saddle. And the horses! So lovely! I miss them so much!
Raul also thought me about the flora and fauna of the area, and i got to bring some pink pepper with me to Finland. Then I was able to tell everyone, that I have been riding as far as where the pepper grows!

Great experience and great views! - My family and I went horseback riding in March with Raul and it was so fun!
The view of the mountains is breathtaking! Raul takes you on a trail along the property and will show you his garden and the different trees. The horses are very nice and calm and this is a good activity for any novice riders!
